I too alway wondered about the cops, in all of the GTA games. I think it would be interesting to make a mod for IV or SA where there was a limited number of cops, and when they all died, you'd never see one again.
I have a couple of videos I made playing IV, which are of the cops doing crazy suicides in their attempts to catch me.

He had a commercial called "Fernando's New Beginnings" that was basically an escort service.
He was also a DJ for the radio station "Emotion" in Vice City

On that note, whatever happened to Maurice Chavez? I loved his show "Pressing Issues" in VC...I would always juggle between that and VROCK.

I loved GTA:SA ("Supply Lines" mission exception made, of course). The ridiculous amount of things to do and to achieve... it was like someone from Rare was working at Rockstar at the time. It seems almost "Banjoesque". Also, the feeling of achievement and progression derived from turning that skinny lameass CJ that couln't shoot a gat straight into a hulking, dual MP5-wielding killing machine (Or whatever fancied you) gave it an RPG feel. After giving us that degree of customization and progression, going back to a "perfect from the beginning and onwards" character like Niko Bellic in GTA:IV felt... I don't know, a bit empty to me.
I liked the music selection too, although there was a bit too much Rap, Hip Hop and etc. But since Rockstar was trying to go for the 'Boyz n the Hood" feeling, I can't really complain.
All I miss is Love Fist and the guy with the Argentina's soccer team t-shirt. I never understood the reference Rockstar was trying to make, but I always found it amusing.
Here's to hoping GTA:V will feature more than a single metropolis, however detailed it might be =)

The weight lifting/eating shit was a novelty, it was fun for like three times and then I was annoyed that I had to keep doing it.

Yeah getting him buff was a grindfest, but when he's fat and pedestrians rip on him it's pretty funny.

I always got CJ really fat whenever I was tagging/phototaking/horseshoes/etc. since I'd usually want to do all of that in one sitting and HATED having to stop and feed him when I was in the middle of doing something else. I want to play the game, I don't want the game to play me. Of course, I'd still be fairly fat afterwards and climbing a wall was almost impossible, so I'd tape my controller down and have him swim for an hour or so.
Also waiting on the girlfriends was so tedious, that I never got to 100% with a single girl, since it took FOREVER.

Beating people down with a giant purple dildo is still one of the funniest things I've ever done in a video game.

You don't have to do 50 taxi missions consecutively. As long as you do 50, be it in different taxis at different times, you can still get 100% completion.

Again, part of the problem is every time I trigger the mission, it counts as a mission attempt, thus defeating my reason to start a new game since I don't want extra mission attempts on my save file.

I'm sorry Dodds, but your attitude toward mission attempts is so fucking weird.

I know it is...believe me...I wish I wasn't so anal...but I am.
Again, this wouldn't be a problem if they used the system they had in GTA 3...the only time mission attempts counted was when you literally failed. That's how it should be.

San Andreas was probably one of the last truly epic games I played before I had to give up most of my childhood for college, etc.
I have a ton of good memories from that game, a great storyline and fun as crap.
