A rated Mature game for younger audiences. What a concept.

Borederlands is indeed incredible, I agree so hard man. Time completely melts when I play this game.
Anyone else have it for PS3 here?

i saw this for $40 @ fry's electronics. i almost picked it up, but i decided to be a tad more financially responsible. how is the game? |
It's ok. I hated the fact that they take the fun out of puzzle solving by telling you how to do each puzzle. |
ah ok. so, show me the way, or pull my hair out? hmmm |
Well, what the game does is at each section where you're supposed to feed a bean to your blob, it'll tell you EXACTLY what you need to do, leaving imagination out of it. It seems more suited to younger audiences. |
That's not entirely true. In the early levels, yes the game does have wooden signs in the background that tell you what to do. But as the game progresses, they leave it up to you to figure stuff out on your own.
It is slightly disappointing that the game is broken down into levels, because it makes it more linear, but there is still some exploration to be done within the game, and the game is significantly longer than the original. It is also beautifully drawn and animated, to the point where I honestly wonder why more stuff isn't done in 2D. There are some great looking 3D games out there, but this looks and feels like an interactive cartoon. My one big complaint about the game is that it only has one save file. This is an inexcusable feature on DS games, let alone Wii games.

Ok, so today I went to two Wal-Marts, two Gamestops, one Best Buy, and one Target, and nobody had it. I never expected such a "non-typical" game to be so popular.

Maybe I just watch the right shows, but it seems like every fucking time I turn on the TV, I see at least one Borderlands commercial. So it's certainly being marketed well.

Hell, I might have to buy this game through steam. I'm sure hoping for a demo though. I like to try before I buy. Then again, I'm still running the RC, so maybe I should get windoze 7 first. Either way, I think I may have to play.

So It goes down from like 5 stars to 3.5 for the ending. I won't spoil anything, just saying that.

Checked my local Sam's Club- nothing. I finally ordered it on a one-day ship from Amazon.

It came in today, and I'm happy to say that I'm having fun with it. I'm glad to see an FPSRPG that doesn't sacrifice the shooting for the RPG like many I've played. The only problem I have is that that fucking Cage the Elephant song is stuck in my head.

This, exactly, haha...very catchy tune.
Also, Togdor, the story in the game is not that incredible, I knew that getting into this. Based on sheer gameplay this game is fantastic, especially with coop.
Also, I reiterate, what consoles do you guys have this for?

You'll love it, at first I was thinking about holding off and checking out Tekken instead. Glad I just went for it, I am very addicted so far.

Yea more or less. The FPS part of it is very tight as well. Nothing is sacrificed in that department for the sake of the RPG nature of the game.
Overall it was handled very well, I can't wait for the inevitable DLC and eventual sequel(s).

He's speaking of the fact that many multiplayer games exclude split-screen multi, even when they have online or system link.

I'm still playing and enjoying Borderlands, however some of the achievements are glitched so I've earned about four achievements that haven't unlocked yet. My challenge log in the game shows that I've met the requirements for these achievements. Hopefully they'll fix this.
