Blade Man looks badass. He's like Sword Man, only with an emphasis on speed over power.
Nitro Man looks pretty cool, too. Hopefully Capcom doesn't screw up his boss battle up like they did with Turbo Man.
Pump Man's the weakest of the bunch in my opinion. He just looks too... goofy. I'm not worried about the shield weapon, though; the Jewel Satellite was actually worthwhile.

They made a major mistake in the Chill Man writeup: There were actually five robot masters prior that used ice. They forgot about Frost Man and Cold Man. In fact, they completely forgot about Mega Man & Bass. Also, regarding Solar Man, they apparently didn't know about the Game Boy Mega Man V's final boss, Sunstar, who has a file in the aforementioned game.
Hey, there's a reason I'm the franchise's biggest fan on this forum.

Fightin' words indeed.
I think they did a good job transitioning the Robot Masters to 8-bit.
I think there are several similarities between 10 and 7. Blade Man's fight seems to be like Slash Man's fight, minus his sticky goo, and Nitro Man's fight looks like Turbo Man with projectiles. Sheep Man can float above Megaman and shoot lightening down upon him, similar to Cloud Man. Blade Man's stage is a castle, and wasn't Shade Man's stage a castle as well?

9 had Splash Woman.
My only problem with this (same with MegaMan 9), why is it download-only?
Also, the 8-bit graphics were a nice gimmick with 9, but I don't think they should just stick with it. I like the retro fanservice as much as anyone else, but what was wrong with the 16-bit graphics of MegaMan 7, or the 32-bit graphics of MegaMan 8? I'm not saying they should go in full 3d, but I'm saying that there's nothing wrong with decent looking 2d graphics. Not to mention that 9 took away features that have now become staples in the MegaMan games, like charging the mega-buster or dashing.

I agree as well, but I think it's hilarious that in a console generation with games like Halo and Eternal Sonata showing off impressive graphics, Capcom is making 8-bit games. As for the charge and slide, sure I miss them, but 9 was able to work well without them. Maybe they could make it like Megaman Powered Up, wher after beating the game, you unlock charging and sliding Megaman as a new character.

Eternal Sonata was the first 360 game that I ever bought, and it did a fantastic job with it's presentation, both graphically and musically.

Seriously, though, why are they download-only? Why can't Capcom give them some kind of console release? I mean, in twenty years, WiiWare won't be up anymore. How are people going to play it then?

It's probably not worth the cost to put a tiny 8-bit game on a disc and I'm sure they'll rerelease it at some point when WiiWare is gone.

I just picked it up a few days ago, and I think it's great.
As for a disk release, I'd bet money that one of the next two console generations will have a new Megaman Anniversary Collection with Megaman 1- 14 on it.

We got MM 9 in '09, we're getting 10 in '10, maybe Capcom'll pull an EA and put out a Classic series Mega Man game for download every year.

I've played the first three Megamans and i enjoyed them. The games are quite hard though i must say. I just downloaded the 9th one from PSN and will be playing through it hopefully before the 10th one is released i should have completed it.
I must be honest the first time i heard about Megaman was on this site. They never really released many of the Megaman games in Europe. So here was the first i heard of it.
