Well, if you add Game Boy games, then we should also add Game Gear and Neo Geo Pocket games as well.

So instead of releasing a classic like they should be, Nintendo releases Wild Guns for the SNES on the VC.
Enlighten me, is this another situation like Life Force where it's actually an underrated classic of it's genre, the shoot em up? Or is this just another lame piece of shit nobody cares about and they should have put out Mega Man X instead?

What?! Wild Guns hit the VC? That's wonderful! I was looking for something fun to download this weekend, I think I just found it. Who doesn't love Western Steampunk shooters? If only Seiken Densetsu 3 were to hit the VC, but that'd never happen. One can dream though...

You can get MegaMan X Collection for GCN as it has the first six, it's expensive due to rarity like MGS: Twin Snakes but it's still better than shelling out eight bucks for MMX if it hits VC and getting three PSX games that would never be released on VC.

I played that, and it was a massive pain in the ass due to Gamecube buttons and SNES buttons being in separate places. I also don't care about 4, 5, and 6.

I have it on the PS2, and it plays fine due to the better controller layout. But fuck playing Contra 3 on VC with the Gamecube controller. Who the hell had the brilliant idea to assign the A button to fucking shields???

Wild Guns is awesome. If I had some extra cash, I'd easily get it.

Yeah, like that'll happen.
Until that day comes, I'll be keeping a CRT TV nearby, thank you very much.

One Wiiware title. I am seriously losing patience with these fuckers.
You know, the least Nintendo could goddamn do is put out a "to be released schedule." I fucking hate suspense on any level and they are committing torture on us with the amount of suspense they are giving us every goddamn Monday. Waiting a full fucking week for something we don't even know if they feel like giving us?

Samurai Showdown III for the Neo-Geo has been released.
I mean, it's better than seeing nothing but Wiiware titles released, but honestly do Neo-Geo fans even give a shit about the Virtual Console?

I want N64DD games to be on the Virtual Console. And by "N64DD" I mean "F-Zero Expansion Kit". I don't know how they would get it on there though.

I want to play Earthbound, and not pay $50 dollars for a used cartridge that might not even work. Japan has it, so why don't we?
FUN FACT: Brawl's VC demos were different by region. While we got Super Mario Bros 2 USA, they got Mother 2, AKA Earthbound.

I just took a quick look at the VC and Wiiware and ho-lee shit, we finally have the NES Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy IV on the SNES. Running at full NTSC speed too, no less. I'm good to go until Terranigma and EarthBound hit the VC.
But WiiWare... Meh. Aside from all those Taito titles and World of Goo, the only title that grabbed my attention was the Blaster Master sequel... Which is horrible, but I might just have to give it a solid session.

So Nintendo blew an excellent opportunity to implement motion controls in a classic game. Now I usually don't like throwing in motion controls for the sake of having motion controls, but Wild Guns would work perfect with motion controls! Just use your wii-mote to aim the crosshair, B trigger to shoot, nunchuck for movement, Z button for Jumping, and C button for Grenades and the A button incase I forgot a function. But the only supported control schemes are Classic controller and Gamecube controller. Way to go, Nintendo!

Of course not, they haven't implemented motion control into any of the VC releases.

Yeah, I guess not...But Nintendo should give it the HD Remix treatment or just make a sequel. That game was awesome.
