You should read the comics. They are based on the original script. Where the hellish images or whatever they are) are released on earth to kill Bill and Ted. Then there is a car chase.

Yeah, I have to keep myself from quoting that in front of her.

Ok, I know I'm late to the party, but I have to acknowledge that this film met and exceeded my very high expectations. Did anyone else go out after this movie and buy a bunch of Batman statues to decorate their study at home? No? I guess I'm just a huge nerd. I guess I should buy a bunch of graphic novels next even though I haven't read a comic since 8th grade in 1994.
Does anyone else want to see Guy Pierce as the Black Mask or the Riddler in the next one? Or Eliza Dushku as Catwoman (who is an absolutely necessary character for B3), or Paul Giamatti as the Penguin at some point?

I went out to McDs right afterwords in Batman gauntlets and hung out with the Champion of the Universe (now Manager of McDonalds) as he sent people away as the power was out. So from 3 to 6 AM I basically hung out with a guy I COULDN'T talk about the movie with... How stupid was that?

Shit i forgot to put this in my favorites, but i did now
And for those of you who think Black Mask might be the next Batman villain, here is how he dies in the comic:
He gets shot in the face . . . by catwoman . . . IMO, least epic death ever.

I think that would be good incorporated into the film. Have both Catwoman and Black Mask in it, and Catwoman kills him near the end.

Nah, That'd be horrible.
No Black Mask. Too much Robin. And then the female Robin/Spoiler.
Gah. Too much.

Can't have Black Mask w/o Robin. They are too tied together

Really? I didn't know that. How so?
Sorry, I don't pay attention to the comics, so wikipedia is my only source....actually, I might as well go over there now and find out for myself...

the joker has done his fair shit to robin and batgirl and neither of them are in Dark Knight. I'm with Cattivo, if the next movie has Black Mask then it's a golden chance to give us a hot Catwoman to complicate things.

No! Not a Catwoman! We still need time to recover from the last crappy Catwoman. That was horrible. IF they put one in soon, Halle Berry might play her. And I seriously don't want that again.

Believe me, no one wants that Lottel, so it won't be happening. I'm sure Nolan is quite aware of how everyone hated Berry's performance and that take on the character.
Catwoman is too important of a character to leave out at this point, and the audience is hungry for a better adaptation of her after the last debacle, IMO. Besides, with Rachel dead, it provides the perfect opportunity to bring her in.
Either Selina Kyle or Talia should be the love interest, or none at all. Considering Nolan has already shifted the paradigm on romantic stories in comic book movies by making the romance with Rachel Dawes secondary to the overarching plot in the first two movies, it wouldn't be a stretch having none at all, which would please me just fine. The romance in SM2 pretty much ruined that film for me, so this series is a nice turnaround for me.

Of all the previous characters from Batman Films, I think Jim Carrey could do a very dark Riddler. And make me completely forget Batman Forever ever existed.

That's what I'm saying. Before they were aiming for that. And he did it well. Combine that with his more serious roles nowadays... He's fucking perfect for the role. The voice is a great Riddler voice.
My vote is for him.

I like Jim Carrey, but I think it's best to keep all ties to the old franchise severed.
