Regarding the song dubbed over Round 2, they made the worst video of 1996.

Honestly, I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Sean. On one hand, I adore how fun to play he is; as ridiculous as it is, I love how useful his taunt is for interrupting enemy attacks, especially with the weird angle he throws the ball, and all of his attacks in general have some odd and delightful properties to them. On the other hand, it seems like I can never actually win with him; the priority on nearly all of his attacks flat-out sucks, and I just find myself constantly being interrupted in the middle of his attacks.

It's all good. Sean is indeed professionally rated the lowest-tiered character. He has unsafe special moves, and few viable combos (thus requiring heavy reliance on winning pokes). I think some of his normals that are shared with Ryu and Ken are slower.
In the end though, he's a blast for in-person/couch matches, there's something magical about that basketball taunt. Me and the bud from the video I posted have probably spent 80% of our matches as Sean vs. Sean, and I regret none of it.

Is FighterZ worth my time/money if I'll probably never play online and just want a fun single player experience?

Very much so! The story mode is wonderful, and frankly I'd recommend it to any DBZ fans. It's surprisingly lengthy, too, with three different campaigns. I adore fighting games, but I'm not the greatest at them, and the difficulty of the story mode is also very reasonable.

A friend gifted my wife Tekken 7 for her birthday recently and I have been loving the shit out of Miguel and Claudio. I may add them to my Tekken mains list, next to Asuka, Feng and Lee.
