Pretty much every song from Sonic 2, Earthbound, Super Mario World, FFVII and Zelda. All of them hold special places in my heart.

Necropost!

Check out this arranged version of the opening theme for Mega Man X. Smooth, jazzy, and very relaxing.

Here's the original for comparison purposes.

It may have already been said, but I am a HUGE fan of the music from both the Guilty Gear series and Blazblu series

I also love the music for MadWorld

How have I not posted in this thread?

Arguably my favorite VG song of all time, Super Bomberman 2 - Boss Battle Part 2

TMNT Tournament Fighters had such an excellent soundtrack.

So did Gundam Wing Endless Duel

Tales of Vesperia - Alexei Battle

Obligatory Final Fantasy Entry

Wild Guns - Boss Battle

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga - Popple Battle

Oh God, I forgot about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. Thanks for reminding me of its excellence, Thunderhorse.

I'm also a fan of the music in Wild Guns.

I suppose three of my favorites would be:

Kefka! It seems that I'm always bumping these vidjagame music threads.

Anyone remember Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube? You know, the one whose multiplayer required the use of Game Boy Advance systems and console cables? It had quite a nice soundtrack.

These two were played in a island and desert setting respectively. Quite good!

It's taken a lot of energy to not completely gush over how much I love Bastion to you guys, but the music is one of the many, many reasons why I love it:

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Donkey Kong Country 3's Cascade Capers is quite excellent.

As is Final Fantasy X's Luca. HAW HAW HAW.

Metro 2033 had a lot of awesome, atmospheric music, but the acoustic guitar tracks are just beautiful:
