This match has officially ended. Cecil's Slime Knights have won 35-26.
However, don't count aeonic/Dorn out of the Forum Battle quite yet. Those 26 votes may be enough to land one of the four Wild Card spots. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up.

We did well for an expansion franchise, just like my fantasy football team last year where i started off 8-2 and went 0-6 for the rest of the season.
I just want to make sure that we go on. I worked ridiculously hard to kick ass in this forum battle knowing we had no shot to win and we kept it within a touchdown and a field goal. It's like if the Lions ever made the super bowl, except I wouldn't just be happy with making it like i would if the Lions just were relevant.

That really was a great showing by Dorn and Aeonic, I really respect all the noise/shit talking Dorn was making, borderlined on over-the-top, but I suppose that is just strong campaigning.
Better luck next time fellas, I must admit, that was a very unfortunate first match-up.

And in the biggest upset of any sport ever, Knyte and I somehow managed to take obtain a decisive victory over the unstoppable Mega Powers of Dorn and Aeonic. I can't stress how hard we had to work for this. There's nothing that compares to this moment. It's like winning an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken freaking neck.
And so the march to victory begins. There are only two other opponents that Syd Lexia is worried about in this forum battle: Hacker and Crash Holly.
