so we're having this snowstorm here since the middle of the night. i got up at 5:30 to shovel before going to work. when i tried to get out of the driveway i couldn't go anywhere cuz the plow hasn't gone thru my street yet...wtf? i was actually looking forward to going to work as it's food day and xmas party day. guess i'm stuck waiting on a plow to come thru, but i assume they're more concerned with the main streets. anyone else having snow problems?

We are supposed to have a big storm starting at noon.

I am guessing I'll get out of work about then and take a half day.

Where is this snowstorm at? I know here in Minnesota it has been below zero for the past 5 days with a bunch of snow in between and tomorrow we are getting a snowstorm.

I'm in Ontario, and we are currently having a snow storm, still going to try and make it to school however. If it started snowing earlier, it sure as shit would have been a snow day.

I'm on LI and it's just starting to snow here.

I heard that we're supposed to miss the worst of it, so I'm not complaining.

NYC here, Staten Island to be exact.

It was like fucking Houdini... woke up half an hour ago to see a hell of a lotta snow on the ground. Even if we get the worst of it, I still have to go to finals tomorrow, haha.

It snowed yesterday for about half the day here in Kansas. But a lot of it melted last night because it got up to the mid 40's. Some of it is refreezing because today the high is only in the 20's.

Last Sunday, back in Missouri where my parents live, It was 70 degrees that day, then snowed that night.

I'm in WNY, just south of the pond from you and we are getting hammered. I've heard it is going to last till the evening. I haven't seen a snow storm this bad since last February. Closings all over but i could have sworn I heard a bus around Noon, which means we did not have school closings until later.

Have you ever heard of Gus Polinski and the Kenosha Kickers. They had a few hits in the late 70's.

Well it hit hard and my last period teacher went home so we just got our names taken down for attendance(all 4 of us) and we were let go.

The piece of shit city hasn't plowed shit all so far so the car ride home took much longer than the regular 5 minutes, don't think I'll be leaving the house again tonight. No freezing rain so we'll be able to get out after tonight likely but if we get freezing rain we are Effed in the A.

I work in a giant cooler and it was actually warmer than outside. The snow hit hard earlier in the week, but it hasn't done anything since about Wednesday. The wind coming down from the NorthEast is killer though.

Supposed to be a winter storm warning here from midnight tonight to Sunday morning at 6. 6-8 inches of snow which isn't bad but out in the red river valley it's like a wind tunnel so the harsh winds cause migraine causing drifts not to mention the dreaded wind chills. Nothing could be as bad as last Sunday's blizzard though. -11 degrees(w/o wind chill), 40+ mph gusts, I think they said around 18 inches of snow or something. That was some heavy shit.

I live in Michigan. Chances are, I get more snow and ice than you. We had a storm today and there's over a foot on the ground. Took me 45 minutes to get to work, and that's 10 minutes away. :\

Downtown Toronto was hell today. I looked outside the window at work and saw nothing but fast flying flurries. Half the people in the financial district must have left early travelling on massively delayed trains. Driving home, there were almost no cars on the slippery, thick, white road.

Ah winter....
