...is a horrible disgrace to wrestling. He actually took the title for this away from Randy Orton, who was and still is using all his waking hours competing for the "Disgraced Wrestling" Title but got one-upped by John.

My problem with John, and Randy even, is they are midcarders at their best. John doesn't sell well, his offence is filled with bad brawling, all charisma that he had when he was a heel is gone, and his finisher sucks all sorts of ass. Randy is an improvement over John, but he is still really rough, with a joke of a finisher and his lack of charisma, he really needs to be place on ECW where he can work on the second issue, and then he can go back to using his running punt.
That being said, I am just hoping the WWE does the right thing right now and hires Bryan Danielson. I want to see some fucking Cattle Mutilation.

Yeah, the F-U couldn't keep my grandmother down for 3 seconds. What a worthless move. The STFU shows it's possible to blow the spot on an STF. I wonder how much Regal reamed him for doing that...
Orton isn't much better. The RKO is offensive to DDP and the Diamond Cutter, because Page could actually do the move correctly and from multiple set-up points. Orton proves he can blow the spot every night to perfection.
Little teenage girls seem to like those two morons which can only be the reason why they haven't been fired yet.
I watch some ROH and know about Bryan Danielson, honestly, I always thought his opponents were better

If you think its little teenage girls keeping either of these two afloat you need to go to a buffalo wild wings on PayPerView night. It's an eye opening experience.

The sad thing is they could be goods wrestlers, but they have been pushed too fast and too long. If they spent some more time on a midcard level, got a few acting lessons, and improved their finishers, I wouldn't mind seeing them as champs.

That, and Orton is third generation, they won't be firing him for a long time.

It is more that the WWE really needs a technical wrestler. The only technical wrestler left in the WWE is Regal, who is currently suspended. A good technical like Danielson wrestler could really make the WWE a much stronger company.

Hey Douche, my friends and I would order WWE PPVs all the time. I don't think I missed a PPV for 5 years at one point. During this time I got to see the unfortunate rise of Cena and Orton, and a handful of memorable promos among a mostly forgettable WWE half decade. Anyway, the girls in the group, love Orton and Cena...
Orton and Cena are always going to be mid-carders to me, or dark match wrestlers. The past few big PPVs have sucked because it looked the WWE wanted me to pay for a dark match I'm sure lots of people saw before anyway.
Rock was 3rd generation too, but he proved he has some skill in the ring. Third generation shouldn't let him ride this long on no ability though.
CM Punk was pretty technical at one point. WWE watered him down. Just watch what they do to Danielson. I believe this lack of freedom is why AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Somoa Joe have said is why they'd never work for WWE, despite the offers.

The WWE would be pretty dumb to water down Danielson. The only move I could see the WWE getting him to stop doing is the diving heatbutt. Then again, no one knows how Vince's mind works, so shit might happen.

I'm sure Vince can find a way. He's already found ways to destroy some of the best gimmics and wrestlers off all time simply by getting them on TV with his scripts and ideas. The NWO, Raven on WWE and not WCW, the entire Invasion angle, etc.
To swing this back on topic. Cena is something Vince created, for the most part, and must be why he likes it so much. I'm sure by now he knows of the Cena backlash, but I think the real problem is teens with cash buying Cena stuff. As long as he makes them money(amazing as that is) he'll be on TV.
Did you hear about fan sign confiscations? The most famous one that wasordered taken from the audience said "We've Cena 'Nuff"... or how about One Night Stand? If I were to describe myself as a wrestling fan, it would be one of those fans chanting to Cena at the Hammerstein Ballroom that night he decided to show up. Obviously hoping he wouldn't get mugged by the arena.
"If Cena wins we riot!"
^now taken out of context by WWE package videos.....

I don't get the Cena hate, but he is by far the top guy for that company. And he has had fantastic matches with all sorts of opponents, so it's not him 'being carried".

Wrestling has been terrible for many years now. I think with WWE buying WCW and not having that direct competition hurt them. They don't need to up their game as much as before. Also, they ruined ECW. TNA is ok, but it seems especially in recent times that it is going down hill as well. Between the lack of technical wrestling and the lack of charismatic characters it has been uninteresting to me, and I really haven't watched much at all for sometime.

This new ECW is fantastic. the 'old' ECW was nothing but a bunch of sloppy work. Aside from when Eddie and Benoit and Malenko were there, it was all sloppy. ECW now is great; it's basically like their training grounds and places you go when you need to work on your gimmick/start out.

AH, but if you like hardcore matches. Terry Funk, barbed wire, flaming baseball bats, tables, and carnage, the old ECW is where it is at. This new one, is not extreme in the least in comparison.

I get what you mean. I'm not squemish by any means, but super hardcore matches like that turn me off a bit, which is why I never liked Necro Butcher until he chilled out with that.

Sloppy work? Old ECW was amazing. As you stated there were greats like Eddie, Beniot, and Malenko, but there was also RVD, Mick Foley, The Sandman, Mike Awesome, Tazz, Sabu, Al Snow, Abdullah the Butcher, 2 Cold Scorpio, Team 3D, The Great Sasuke, Hayabusa, Raven, Rhino, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, and Taka Michinoku. ECW had some amazing talented wrestlers. It is true that some have cover up the fact that they don't have skill by being hardcore, but most are amazing wrestlers, both in hardcore matches and out of hardcore matches.
As for Cena being top guy, he shouldn't be. His mat wrestling is mediocre, his finishers suck, his charisma is nonexistent, and he isn’t that good of a brawler. It isn’t so much that I hate Cena, and in fact I think he would be a great midcard heel in the WWE, but it is the fact that he is a topcard face that is the problem.

His brawling is mediocre? You're stretching it there guy. RVD = overhyped. And I can't believe you said Cena has no charisma. His faux Marine shit may be lame be he has plenty of charisma.

Yeah his brawling is mediocre, when you compare it to brawlers like Necro Butcher and Abdullah, it is very easy to see just how mediocre his brawling is. And yes, RVD is pretty overrated as a high flyer, but as an extremist, he is one of the best. And Cena's charisma went out the window when he stopped rapping.

I will agree with one thing uncle joe says, Cena does indeed have charisma. He gets pops, there's no denying it. I have yet to see him carry a match though, and have never seen him do any technical or mat work.
