I know there its already mentioned in the dead celebrities thread but i felt it deserved its own.

from etonline.com:
George Carlin has died from heart failure. The man who made famous the "seven words you can never say on television" passed away at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, his longtime publicist said. He was 71.

One of my best memories is going to see him live at the theater in my home town and what i loved was all the different people of age and peer group. Its a real shame.

The least he deserves is his own thread. Carlin was one of the funniest men around. I inherited my love for him from my family. Plus, I loved his work with Kevin Smith, especially Jersey Girl; he gave one of the best supporting performances ever - EVER.

I love George Carlin. I'm not sure I believe this is true... no one did comedy like he did.

What really sucks is that my dad told me he was going to take me to see Carlin the next time he was going to go to Chicago.

I guess that's not happening now...comedy has lost one of its greatest legends. Thanks for the laughs, George. You will be sorely missed.

One last time, in honor of George.... shit piss fuck cocksucker motherfucker cunt twat.

One of my favorite bits was one of his more recent HBO specials, where he was talking about how religion is the ultimate bullshit story.

Sad Came as a shock to me, he always seemed healthy, he was very animated on stage and I never knew he was that old. It's all good, he's probably hangin out with Bill Hicks right now. Confused

Fuck! FUCK!!!

I first saw him as Mr. Conductor on Thomas the Tank Engine, then I read his books and saw his comedy specials and discovered that he was a comedic genius.

George Carlin isn't dead, he's doing research for his next book: The Five Words You Can't Say In Heaven.

I remember watching that. Also one of my favorite movies ever.

After watching that clip, I had to make sure that Alex Winter did the voice of Bill. I thought he did, but he just didn't sound as much like Bill as he did in the movies.

Granted he was Mr. Conductor and not a train himself, the joke works Smile.

The question is, if a tanker of human waste crashes into the Pokemon factory, does the human waste soil the Pokemon, or does the Pokemon soil the human waste?

These are the things people have to think of (and probably why I ultimately ended up failing Philosophy)

No idea, it's just one of my favorite Carlin (mis)quotes.
