CG zombies just aren't scary... Actually, real zombies aren't that scary either. And (if that is) Leon I'm just a little too sick of him, and was that really Claire...?

I'm pretty sure that was Leon since the guy's got blonde hair and a leather jacket (it certainly ain't Chris) and I'm pretty sure that's Claire. I'm really excited about this, I just hope that Alyson Court (FoxKids' X-men's Jubilee) is still interested in providing Claire's voice.

Real zombies have never been scary. Even skeletons have the good sense to bring a weapon.
If its a viral zombie, the terror is that you might get the virus. If theres magic involved, the scary thing is the wizard controlling them. If a zombie movie is actually good, its because its a satire versus a horror.

I think the worst zombie movie I ever saw was George A. Romero's Land of the Dead. His zombie movies have always been kinda preachy, but whereas Dawn of the Dead's commentary on capitalism was actually clever, using zombies as a thin veil to show us that Islamic terrorists aren't so different from you and I was just plain retarded.

Lord, no. RE4 is a horrible movie. Just watch the movie mode. It's soooooo dull and teasing, not to mention the total lack of emotion. As an action game, yeah, but it wouldn't transfer well...
Know what? They already made a movie of RE4, it was called Spartan.

Woah, that looks awesome.
I might actually consider watching that, and thats really saying something.
I hate the live action movies for shaming RE and having little to nothing to do with the storyline. Thats just what happens with live action movies made from cartoons/video games. They just don't work. This, however, catches the feel.
And yes! It has Claire!

Oh my jesus this is gonna be the shit!
But out of all the live action RE movies, I just liked the first one, and only that one.

If they were to make an RE4 movie, I pray to god Hunnigan is cut from the cast. She never says a single useful thing. LEON, LOOK OUT, LOS BADGUYOS ARE GOING TO GET YOU. OKAY LEON. My friends and I started calling people who say nothing but worthless, obvious shit Hunnigans. Oh hey, there's a hunnigan. Okay, whatever you say, hunnigan.

Sometimes I wonder if I would have even cared for the anime if it didn't actually have that character in it. But it has a Klassix™ Memoriez™ feel since it's somewhat old, but not too old anime-wise to be utterly unbearable and cheesy, like much of the stuff from the 80's.
I wouldn't call it my favorite anime, but I would consider Koume one of my favorite anime characters.

While Hunnigan was annoying in that sense, Ashley was fucking worse. Worst female character ever in an RE game, and overly cliche`. I don't like weak/pathetic/annoying female characters in games/tv/whatever, or hell IRL even.
She wasn't even attractive, big monkey ears and all. Ugh.
Worst combo ever.
I like them ether tomboyish, tough, and toting guns/weapons, but also I don't mind them if they're the opposite of that, without being overly fuck annoying of course.
In comparison, Ada was alright, though I had to suspend my disbelief that here she is with weapons running around rural Spain in high heels and a dress. Sometimes fan service is just so unrealistic I can't enjoy it.
It was more believable with her outfit in assignment Ada, though she still had high heels, seriously. Son of a fuck.

Agreed x 10. I also think zombies are scarier when they are a mob of irrational things that just want to kill. Having the zombies learn how to use a gun (or feel emotion) was fucking stupid.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

Haven't seen any of the movies, but I've read the plot and synopsis of them all, and I'd have to agree...
It belays the utter concept of zombies.

I'm surprised another person on this board has even watched the show, and yes, she's the best character.
ashley sucked because I reconized her voice actor immediately, and hated it. this also ruined tales of symphonia for me.

I think a valid exception to the "no zombie emotions" rule is well executed in Day of the Dead, where Bub is a badass zombie who feels the pain of loss even as a zombie.

Yeah, Day of the Dead was pretty cool.
Also, I love the zombies in Return of the Living Dead and Return of the Living Dead Part 2.
