First learned about the internet: My brother was in university and mailed me a printout of the lyrics from Alopalooza.
First sampling of porn from the internet: Probably '95. My friend was the only kid in town with the internet and his older brother had downloaded a bunch of porn.
First e-mail address: Same one I use now. IT'S A SECRET TO EVERYONE.
First Online friend: Samantha Mastridge from Clear Water, Florida. I was typing in random numbers on geocities.com/soho/studio/ and came across her page.
First appearence on Dateline: TBA

First website I went to: Pretty sure it was Sepultura's website. I remember when I was really little and I was at school with my Mom.
First forum: Gaia (I know, it's sad)
First nasty picture: Tubgirl, although it remained nameless at the time.

I liked going back and reading all my first Gaia posts that I made. God, I was so ignorant back then. "Hey everyone, who here likes anime?! I really like Hayao Miyazaki!!!"

First ISP: AOL (never again)
First emulator: ZSNES
First time caught looking at porn: When I was 13. Goddamn the fact that AOL keeps your browser history intact and I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it! (That's why I have Firefox set up to clear my private data every time the program closes, since both computers our family uses are owned and operated by me).

First time I saw tubgirl: I laughed and then studied the arc and trajectory, and never looked at the old Artillery game on school computers the same.

First time I showed my mom tubgirl: she went OH GROSS and then proceeded to study just like I had done months earlier.

Haha, I have my Firefox set like that too. Never been caught though.

First time on the internet: September 26th, 1997 (I was 7, of course) on my cousin's AOL (same day I got my cast off from my only broken arm, that's how I remember it).
First Yahoo E-mail account: djmike64@yahoo.com (proudly still in use today)
First AOL account: ... (actually... I don't remember either.)
First games ever played on a computer: Doom (Windows 95) and SkiFree at a old friend's house.
First game played on the internet: Some Digimon game on Fox Kids's old website.
First time discovering emulation: Around January 2000 when me and my sister were pulling all-nighters on the computer and ending up finding Game Boy emulator(She still claims to this day that she did it, but she's wrong) There also used to be this UK site where she'd get the roms from, but it doesn't exist anymore.
First time watching porn: That same year, another all-nighter random search with a friend. We were ten though, we couldn't even get off to it yet.
First MP3 downloaded: Limp Bizkit's "Rollin" around '99 (I didn't even like rock music at the time)
Best sites I enjoyed back then: Newgrounds and StickDeath.com.

First online capable PC: 286 processor, 20MB HDD, don't remember how much RAM but probably less than 1MB
First ISP: AOL, I was in 4th or 5th grade so circa 1991-1992. I remember our subscription was only for 5 hours a month, but I always went way over. Now that I think about it, I can't remember what was so interesting since there was no web browser and all the content was text based...
First AOL account: SubZero843
First modem: 9800 baud
First warez: Some cool dude I met on AOL actually snail-mailed me a copy of the original Mortal Kombat for PC on 3 floppy disks. Unfortunately my 286 PC was too shitty to run the game (required at least a 386) so I could only play it when I visited my dad's office. Fun times.
First MP3 downloaded: It was either Will Smith-Men in Black or Puff Daddy-I'll Be Missing You, haha (this was around 1997-1998). I started downloading strictly via search engines before moving on to IRC (Napster was still a few years away)...

  • First ISP: AOL (Version 2.5 for Dos)
  • First time AOL banned me for life for distributing self made malware to assholes using one of those AOL Warez programs, 1993 or 1994... don't really remember. My mom was so mad. But fuck that asshole who thought it was funny to lock up my 2400 baud modem. Looking back I should thank that person for making me learn how to figure out enough script to delete his entire Windows installation and open my eyes to an Internet that didin't involve AOL.

I suppose I should also thank AOL for not allowing me access to AOL.

  • First website created from pure HTML: 1996
  • First site host: Geocities
  • First use of a network: Connecting via Terminal to type text back and forth with a kid who lived up the street. there was no point other than it was very cool at the time. 1992.
  • First time I abused PC Anywhere to rotate pornographic wallpaper images on a friend's background: 1999.

  • First time I used Myspace or Facebook - NEVER

First detention: made a joke about one of my high school teachers being a pedophile. His wife was one of his students, and his affair started with her when she was 17. So worth it.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

First AOL Account: Trekkies336, the name of the documentary and my paper route # (i dont know why i named my account after a fairly mediocre documentary)
First AOL Version 2.0
First time on Porn: Probably fifth or sixth grade. I remember I always used to freak out when I clicked the dang pop up X's that were the fake ones, and then going through my email to delete porn spam and my history.
First Website: A tribute to the original Gex and Gex 2. My friend and I both forgot the password so we could never update it like we wanted to.
