Okay, so I just read that there's going to be a Blue Dragon game on the DS, the forefather game being for the 360 (and failed in its attempt to save the XBOX in Japan)
Now I hear they're tweaking Rygar (the PS2 game from a few years back) for the Wiimote.

Those aren't the competition. Those are third parties.

Yeah, Rygar is a Tecmo property.
It was originally a 1986 arcade game, which was ported to the NES, SMS, C64, Amstrad CPC, and Sharp X68000.
The PS2 game, released in 2002, was essentially a remake, which means the Wii game will be the first truly new Rygar game in over 20 years, as well as the first proper sequel. That's gotta be some kind of record.
Blue Dragon, on the other hand, is done by Mistwalker, a second party company. It was founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi in 2004 with financial backing from Microsoft.

Play Halo on the Wii.
Okay, that's not accually going to happen. But, something simular could.
Word is that Bungie is parting ways with Microsoft, as Bungie does not like the ways that M$ has been treating them.
From The Inquirer:
THE RUMOUR MILL is spinning again after a Seattle Post-Intelligence reader posted an email received from a friend of a higher-up, stating that the creator of the massively popular Xbox series Halo, Bungie, has separated from Microsoft.
The email states Microsoft gets to keep all rights to the ‘Halo’ franchise and says the official announcement won’t be released until October 6th, so as to not impact the quarterly results.
Bungie was acquired by Microsoft in 2000, where it gained exclusive publishing and distribution rights to select Bungie-developed titles, including Halo. Microsoft has denied the split saying, “There’s been no such announcement. We continue to celebrate the tremendous success of the global phenomenon that is ‘Halo 3.’”
According to the email Microsoft was interfering with various aspects of Bungie’s business. It claims Voles were fiddling in everything Bungie did, from marketing to public relations. According to the email, Microsoft was also “stingy” with profits.

Bungie kinda sucks. Halo 3 is pretty phenomenal, aside from that second to last level, but Halo 1 was awful and Halo 2 was meh. And let's not forget Marathon, the Mac's rather weak answer to Doom.
And Bungie would go to Sony. Nintendo isn't smart enough to court Bungie, and even if they were, Sony is more desperate anyway and will offer a better deal.

I don't think Bungie needs to go to anyone. I think they could remain independant and just let EA, Atari, Codemasters, and Ubisoft fight over who will get to distribute the titles. Much along the lines of Bioware, Crytek, or Bohemia Interactive.

I liked all 3 Halo's. The campaign in the first one was better than the 2nd one. Part 3 was alright. But it really is all about the multiplayer. I hope the Halo RTS is good.

Halo 1 was OK and Halo 2 was on the bad side. I wouldn't mind seeing a port of Halo 3 on the Wii, although that's highly unlikely. But Nintendo might grab Bungie for revenge, since Microsoft took Rare.

Microsoft should grab Nintendo for revenge, for selling them Rare and having Rare end up being a lemon.

Yeah, like that could happen. That would be a major, major investment (as well as a stupid move).

Also, Nintendo is not for sale.
And Halo 3 can never be on the Wii. As a result of their agreement with MS, MS owns the rights to the Halo name and characters. Bungie would have to develop a similar FPS with a completely different name.

Maybe they can call it "Horns" and you can star as a super space soldier simply named "Petty Officer". And, you get to fight aliens and shit.
Damn, I should make games.

Hmm. Maybe Bungie should do the next 3D Metroid game. Then the multiplayer wouldn't suck, and the story wouldn't either because Nintendo would write it.

I' m probably very biased when it comes to Marathon. Back in the day, one of my friends had a Mac and he wouldn't shut up about Marathon when it first came out. God, that was annoying.
We're talking about Doom, kid, no one wants to hear about your shitty Mac game. Why don't you get Doom... OH WAIT YOU CAN'T. Hey, why don't you get Wolfenstein 3D, you know, the game we were playing on our PCs TWO FUCKING YEARS AGO.

DOOM is still my favorite FPS. I just wanna kill shit and flip a switch when I play a game like that. No story, no mission aside from "fuck everything up", no bullshit jumping/jetpacking/ziplining/swimming/etc.
I don't personally care about Bungie doing different things, so long as Oni 2 never exists.

I spent 20$. =(
I liked Marathon but I didn't have a Mac, but Doom and Duke Nukem 3D are still on my favorites list.

Ahh Morrowwind. Open ended, which is another way of saying you fucked around for however long it takes for you to get bored, where you then immediately jump right back on the plotline rail.
Advanced RPG stat and skill development, where you character is rewarded for such actions as putting a brick on the shift key or the up arrow and leaving it there all night. Want to be a magician? Lock your character in a dark room and spam a zero mana cantrip until you can pretty much unmake creation. Advanced click combat action! Find ways to break the craft system so that your pants give you wolverine level regeneration, just by killing the golden saint angels fucktards that wander the countryside now that you are high level.
And lets not forget the fantasy races, like the Redguard with their natural strength and stamina bonuses but their intelligence and charisma penalties. If your wondering what the Redguard look like, heres a short description- THEY'RE BLACK PEOPLE. White people are diverse enough to have 3 races to their name, hispanics get none.
Morrowind fails.

Not to mention the fact that the original version didn't tell you how much damage you were doing to the enemies (neither with numbers or bleeding or anything), and in the second version they told you this but didn't tell you how much life the thing had left.
