I think the most violent thing I've done was one time I got really pissed off in Smash64 and smacked around my friends. I only did it cause they were laughing obnoxiously at me after I lost the match. I later apologized.
My favorite story I read on the internet was a guy getting pissed off in an arcade and telling the guy "you and me outside. it's gonna be street fighter 4."

I smashed my N64 the day I got it because my brother was playing after I took a bathroom break and refused to stop. I casually walked up to the console and walked outside to the shed, got a sledgehammer and just annihilated it. That was on launch day.

I just abuse the hardware, not other people, although sometimes people would misinterpret my swearing as being towards them, when I just swear out of frustration to myself.
I broke several N64 controllers while playing wrestling games against my friends. When something upset me, I would just smash the side of my controller into the ground. Crazy.
I also remember breaking my first nintendo after hitting it several times out of frustration while playing Maniac Mansion, of all games. I think I might have broken a second one as well, maybe playing SMB2....not sure....
Nowadays I seem to be much calmer, although sometimes while playing a game on my computer, I will pound my fist into my desk once or twice out of frustration. Nuts, man, nuts. I just hate losing that much.

I have bite marks on my SNES controller from various games. Aside from that, and the occasional controller throw nowadays, I'm not too bad.

Back in an arcade about 10 years ago, I almost broke my hand punching the ground (made of concrete FYI) when a prick appeared out of nowhere and beat me mercilessly in MvC 2 (Magneto, Storm and Sentinel in case you couldn't guess what could cause such anger).
I only managed to dislocate the 4th Metacarpal bone ( http://home.comcast.net/~wnor/lesson5palmofhand.htm ), which somehow I managed to slot it back into place.
It hurt like hell and now got a slope on the back of my hand to show for an outburst of unrestrained rage...

Been through three PS2 controllers and a few PC keyboards/mice. Worst thing I ever did was accidentally throw a controller into my DVD player and wrecked that, too.
With people, I'm retardedly patient to a fault. When it comes to games and hardware, I turn into a rage demon, I swear.

I have thrown some games that have really pissed me off into a fire a few times over the years. As far as going apeshit on people, I punched some other kid in the face at an arcade years ago while playing Mortal Kombat and I have beaten my brother up over many a game.

I've never had any sort of a reaction like you guys. I only remember pounding the table after losing to the final boss in Dead to Rights like twenty times.

All I really was swear at the game if I got stuck somewhere for a long time, or sometimes swear at my sisters when they accidentally deleted my save files
My parents wouldn't have hesitated to forbid me from playing video games if I ever threw controllers around.
When I was 4 they prevented me from playing video games for a whole year. So yeah, getting angry didn't feel like it was worth it.

I miss the PS1 controllers. Those fuckers were unbreakable, and I know that because Tony Hawk always tested the limits.

Thankfully, the most I ever did when I got angry was screech until my throat was raw. It's probably because of my bumbling nonphysical rage that my old SNES games survive to this day.

Tell that to 3 or 4 I tore in half during fits of rage. The only controllers I couldn't tear in half were the Dreamcast and original gigantic XBOX ones. Hammers can still break them, or swinging them by the cord into a brick wall.

The only controller I ever broke was an N64 one I accidentally stepped on because someone put a blanket over it while it was laying on the floor. Once I remember hitting a door so hard while I was leaving the room because of some N64 game that had pissed me off a ton over the course of a few hours that I actually put a hole in it, that was kind of hard to explain to my parents.
Of course now I try to avoid doing that and mostly just punch the bed or my leg. Though I have thrown several controllers across rooms as well lately. I'm actually impressed that my PS3 controller still works after the first few weeks I played Demon's/Dark Souls. It got many attempts at learning to fly.

One time I was playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and it pissed me off so much (something about someone having a 94% hit probability and missing, and then dying, IIRC) that I bit into my GBA SP. I think that's the only "violent" reaction to a video game I've ever had, though.

In Fire Emblem, I don't do fights I can actually lose unless I have to, because yeah, it's incredibly frustrating to lose a character out of nowhere.
Fire Emblem has no time limit usually, so it doesn't really matter that much if I waste a few turns avoiding a 1% chance of Crit
Fire Emblem is one of those games I do swear at fairly often, though now I suck less so it goes a bit better.

Almost forgot, my DS Lite had its R shoulder break off due to Contra 4. Fuck those challenges.

I complete a good number of the challenges, but I don't think I finished ANY of the time-based ones. Whatever. I unlocked Contra and Super C, and that's all that matters. The rest of the unlockables are pointless crap.

That's what I do. My sister is the only person who's ever seen me do it and she think it's hilarious.

I usually don't get too mad these days, just a few thrown controllers here and there.

Thrown controllers mostly, when my cousin and I would play Mario he'd get so pissed off he'd almost break the controller in half
When I get pissed off I start swearing at the game

Not necessarily an angry response, but I remember playing Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the first time. A bunch of my friends were sleeping over because it was for my birthday. I remember making it past the AT-AT you fought on foot and going for all the Challenge Points. Anywho, I make it to this one area, 5:55 is where this becomes relevant:
So I was a lot closer to the left side of the wall and that Wampa comes out of nowhere from that point. One of my friends in the front row jumped up and away out of sheer shock when it almost hit me.
I think I've mentioned pulling out controllers from being pissed at losing before.
