This is difficult, I'm just going to list movies that I liked enough to rewatch several times.

1. Poltergeist
2. Office Space
3. Spaceballs
4. Uncle Buck
5. Vegas Vacation
6. Waiting...
7. The Hangover
8. High Fidelity
9. Dogma
10. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
11. Animal House
12. Purgatory
13. Shaun of the Dead
14. McClintock
15. Patton

Not in any particular order, other than number 1 being my actual number 1 movie. I don't really have a set top 5/10/15 because my tastes change depending on my mood that day. These are just movies I've seen several times and enjoyed enough to keep watching them. Very Happy

Yeah, it is quite hard to list on 15 movies, and in my rush to post the topic I left out some good ones I really like but could not think of at the time, a few of which you guys listed.

Some I forgot are: Delicatessen, Amelie, City of God, Koyaanisqatsi, Seven Samurai, The Shawshank Redemption, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Akira, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Wizard of Oz, Blade Runner, Inception, Mad Max, Léon (The Professional), Rashomon, Trainspotting, Aguirre: The Wrath of God, Nosferatu, Citizen Kane, The Fly, Ikiru, Lawrence of Arabia, Metropolis, Once Upon a Time in the West, ...... yeah, I could go on for ages.

I think it's funny that there's really no duplicates in everyone's primary lists. Different strokes, eh?

For these kinds of lists, my criteria for myself is always "a film I can watch over and over again and never get tired of not matter how often I watch it or how frequently." So here's my list in no particular order:

1. Goodfellas
2. Die Hard
3. Man in the Iron Mask (1998)
4. 13th Warrior
5. Back to the Future
6. Reservoir Dogs
7. The Quick and the Dead
8. Robin Hood: Prince of Theives
9. Evil Dead 2
10. Saw (and its sequels)
11. Mallrats
12. Amelie (thanks for reminding me about this gem @om)
13. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (Hey, it counts!)

When I think of more, I'll edit the post to get to 15.

aeonic I think it is pretty great too how different the lists are. I was worried I was going to be the one list that didn't focus on 80's movies.

I had a cuss of a time getting to 15 when I did this but I can think of some other movies that could have made it into 10-15 besides the ones I put: Disney's Robin Hood, The Other Guys, Apollo 13, You've Got Mail, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Dragonheart.

Small Defense of You've got Mail. I know it's a ridiculous movie, but it's a romantic comedy where the guy is a total jackhole, ruins the girls life entirely and still gets with her at the end. Beautiful.

Love this topic dude.

Kinda hard to think of top 15, since my movie tastes are just all over the spectrum, so I'll have to go with the "movies I keep coming back to no matter how many times" criteria, thus, in no particular order:

- Akira
- Spirited Away
- Up
- Toy Story 3
- The Princess Bride
- Otomo Katsuhiro's Memories
- Dragonheart
- The Dark Knight
- Speed Racer (this one is on the list because it's one of those few movies that take a classic cartoon and not only respects the source material, but also knows how to have fun wirh it instead of trying to parodize or be ironic with it for the sake of being pretentious).
- Jurassic Park
- Kung Fu Panda
- Citizen Kane
- Robot Carnival
- Zombieland
- Sin City

I think with me, a lot of it has to do with how rewatchable a movie is to me. Something that I cannot in any way ever get sick of.
