I do some traveling and don't know what I'd do without my DS. Looking for some good games for it. All games options are welcome, although I lean towards RPGs and away from sport games. I have the following so don't bother offering them:
New Super Mario bros
Castlevania (all 3)
Final Fantasy III, IV, Tactics A2
Chrono Trigger
Fire Emblem
Dragon Quest IV
Pokemon Soul Silver
I have a few more I can't think of right now. Also, which Tetris is the best for the DS? Looking at getting Party Delux or Tetris DS.

Care to explain why Tetris DS is the better choice? And thanks! Been visiting the boards for a couple of months, just reading never posting. Been visiting the site for around 6 months.

Never played Party Tetris or whatever, but Tetris DS was produced directly by Nintendo and has six addictive modes. It also has 2-4 player multiplayer for various modes and features different Nintendo characters in each of its modes. It's badass.

Thanks. I've been leaning towards Tetris DS, but I know that Tetris Party Deluxe was newer so I wasn't sure if it had an actual improvements over the other.

Put in another vote for these from me. Great, robust RPGs that will make you smile as you play them.
I really enjoy the Phoenix Wright games and if you like that style of interactive graphic novel, check out Hotel Dusk as well which was a very underrated and overlooked gem.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is a great strategy/RPG in the same vein as the Advance Wars series, but a little more interesting.

I think this should be on the back of the box. It's the only game I use my DS for.

Lux-Pain is alright for a semi-good translated graphic adventure game (A watered down Snatcher like game). GTA: Chinatown Wars was very addictive to play and I found Suikoden Tierkreis to be good albiet horrible voice acted.
And Tetris DS get it if you can afford it and find it...

Thanks for all the input guys. Grabbed Ninja Gaiden off ebay for 6.25 shipped. And Tetris DS for 28.00 shipped.
Although I don't own the Mario and Luigi RPGs I've beaten them both and traded them in. Also have both the Zeldas, should have mentioned that. Anyone have an opinion on The World Ends with You or Valkryie Profile?
Few others listed here I want to try and also a couple I want to grab myself:
Retro Game Challenge
Megaman ZX
Book of Ys I & II
Scribblenauts

Yea I thought Ninja Gaiden was pretty great, they should really make a 3DS sequel.
If you are into any music based stuff, or just quirky Japanese shit in general, Rhythm Heaven is a pretty good time killer.
Also, welcome!

Lunar Knights
Elite Beat Agents
Rockman ZX
Kirby Canvas Curse
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Warioware Touched
Animal Crossing Wild World
Kingdom Hearts 356/2 Days
Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story*
Advance Wars Days of Ruin
Mario Kart DS
*Partners in Time comes first but is absolute rubbish so skip it
These are all decent at worst.
There was a lot about scribblenauts but when you realize that the entire game is on display at the title screen....

The World Ends With You is fantastically great. There are some naysayers on this board which I struggle to understand because it's one of the most fun, well made and original games on the DS. Not only that, but it has hundreds of hours of playtime if you want to collect all the pins and do the extra stuff aside from the main story. It's a definite recommendation.
I would rent Scribblenauts rather than buy it. It's really fun at first and definitely original and novel, but the experience sours very quickly. The controls are absolutely awful and the novelty of trying to find wacky objects to solve problems gets old pretty fast, especially when you keep going back to the same objects because they're just easier to use than others. I found the level design to be very basic and lacking too which is annoying since the whole point of the game is begging for interesting puzzles/levels.

I've been thinking about checking out Lunar Knights. Never been into any music games, don't own anything like Guitar hero or Rock Band. Never played any of the Kingdom Hearts either, just never tried them.
Are there any hack n slash games on the DS? A dungeon crawler type game? Something like Diablo.

Lunar Knights is hack-n-slashing isometric dungeon crawling goodness. It's actually the fourth game in the Boktai series, but you don't need to play the others to understand what's going on -- in the third game an alternate future was introduced, and LK takes place in the alternate timeline.

If you want a full dungeon crawler, try Izuna or the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. They're fair introductions to the genre. Shiren the Wanderer and The Dark Spire are much less forgiving if that's your thing.
[Edit]I just realized the first three are actually roguelikes. Get at least one of them anyway.
