whether you snuck in or the tape to see it, or some carefree relative allowed you to view it, you saw your first R-rated picture, and probably loved it! Boobs! Swears! Murder!

My first was Players Club.

To keep my lame intro short, looking back, I really shouldn't have watched it at nine years old, granted the only thing it gave me was a severe case of the foul language (w/ thanks to my parents!), and 80-89 minutes of booty and boobs, Classic one-liners, The steady launch of Jamie Foxx's career, violence and even more disturbing and sadly a rape "scene" (wasn't shown).

So....yeah... Surprised after that it was mostly R-rated comedies..

The first one I remember is the original Terminator. Quickly followed by Night of the Demons. Too bad parents are pussies nowadays, because me enjoying rated R movies at 5 years old is probably something that'd get your kids taken away nowadays.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

I've been watching R movies for as long as I can remember. In fourth grade, I made my best friend back then watch Pulp Fiction with me. When his mom found out, she went absolutely apeshit.

I saw the first Terminator in the theater. Yeah, I'm old.

My mom nearly killed my dad, who brought me because he really wanted to see it and couldn't get a babysitter. The part at the end where the robot is crawling after Sarah Connor scared the piss out of me and I had nightmares for years about it.

Ironically, I wasn't allowed to see Terminator 2 in the theater. Fucking inconsistent parenting!

I don't remember exactly, we are talking nearly 25-26 years ago... I think I remember Police Academy as one of the earliest, though I didn't recognize it as rated R until I was older.

Mine was Alien. After that, Nightmare on Elm St (Saw at friends house) and then I think Planes Trains and Automobiles. There might have been some other comedies in between, but I don't remember clearly.

Dances with Wolves 2 is gonna ROCK!

This. But everytime I watch it I can't help but think that it ends abruptly. Still excellent, though.

I'm pretty sure it was The Puppetmaster or Leprechaun at my buddy's house in 4th grade. I told my dad and we had a good conversation about the fine points of 80s horror movies, but I didn't tell my mom because I knew she'd flip.

Apparently, I watched Gremlins when I was two or three and had nightmares. I have no recollection of that. I haven't had any nightmares from the beginning of my memory, but this has been confirmed by multiple people in my family.

It was either "Invaders from Mars" (1986 version) or "Dragnet" with Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks.

You have to understand that these were the days of renting videos from a supermarket, so whatever was there, you got.

Alien 3. I was around 10-11 and liked it, although it was pretty damn scary.

Quite possibly Killer Clowns from Outer Space sometime in the early 90's.

I actually kind of miss those days.

My first may well have been Robocop. It was either that or probably something with the govenator in it. I was a big fan of Arny's when I was younger.

I remember watching the first Rambo movie when I was a little kid.

Ah, it wasn't in the theatre, but the first R-rated movie I ever saw period was Blade Runner. Didn't scare me; I loved it.

I can say with certainty that my first R rated film was Creepshow. I love that movie to an unhealthy extent.

I assume we're not counting cable edits. Cuz I saw like a hundred R-rated movies on basic cable and UHF stations. Earliest ones I remember seeing are Revenge of the Nerds, RoboCop, and Zapped.

First one I rented? Terminator 2. When my mom finally let me rent R movies, that was the first one I picked. I was not disappointed.

First one I saw unedited? Possibly Species on a free movie channel weekend. That was also around the time my mom started me rent R-rated movies, as my brother had just turned 13, so T2 might have actually be the first in this category too. I didn't tell my brother that Species was on. He was pissed.

First one I saw in theaters was Mimic. It was almost Bordello of Blood.

Yeah Species was...awesome. I remember my dad renting that and trying to fast forward the nudity. Naturally, I waited until midnight to watch it by myself.

Is R equivalent to 13+ or 16+ ? I don't understand your complicated ratings.
I don't know what was the first R movie I watched. But I doubt it was anything special, my parents didn't really give a damn about movie ratings.

The only movies you will ever be carded for in America are R and NC-17.

PG and PG-13 carry mild warnings, but anyone can walk into the the theatre without hassle.
