What was a game you liked that disappointed you when it became too easy to beat? (Besides Mario 3). My pick goes to 'Illusion of Gaia'

I can be.

It really depends, sometimes a game is quite easy but I don't notice because I am enjoying myself so thoroughly.

Other times, a game is easy solely because it sucks (i.e: the AI is awful, painfully linear level design, just short in general).

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Every Kirby game that isn't Star Stacker
I suppose Pokemon would count too, I tend to like being overleveled.

The GBA remakes of Final Fantasy I and II. I blew through that shit in a weekend. Also, Metroid: Zero Mission.

Definitely agree on Symphony of the Night. You could kill most bosses by just throwing a billion knives at them as fast as possible. I think I died maybe twice ever in that game.

I agree. I can beat games like SMB and Castle Of Illusion without losing a single life, but does this mean that they ever stop being fun? does it fuck!!

I played Mickey's ultimate challenge on the Genesis and thought I'd cleared the first level, when infact, I'd cleared the entire fucking game!

Gun

I mean it had the potential to be like a GTA in the west. It was way too easy and way too quick. I was insanely upset when I beat because it was so quick.

Baby Killer 5000. I kept hoping that maybe on the higher levels the babies would fight back, but they never did.

It's a series of puzzles, i think about 6! If you've got 20 mins to kill, it's a good little play.
