I bought 50 dollars worth of points with the gift card my boss gave me. I don't know what to buy though. The Maw looks good, and I am definitely buying Rez HD since I love that game. I have no idea what else to get though. Does anybody here have any recommendations? Are any of the indie games any good? I want to get the most for my money and enjoy my purchases.

I have MvC2, but I forgot about the zombie game. That is a must have. Thanks.

I have Braid, but I don't have the other two. I think Castle Crasher is a must have though, that one looks awesome.

Mega Man 9 is great, and so is Cloning Clyde if you like puzzle/platformers.

Can't say I have regretted any of these:
Bionic Commando:Rearmed
Braid
Monkey Island SE
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Shadow Complex
Castle Crashers
Battlefield 1943
Ikaruga
Castlevania:SOTN
Most are remakes or ports of old games, but they're worthwhile if you somehow missed out the first time or just want to revisit them. I got Bionic Commando and Ikargua on sale for $5 each and SOTN for $10, which were all steals to me.
I will strongly recommend Shadow Complex since nobody has mentioned it yet. It's a must own if you're a fan of Metroidvania games. Highly re-playable and an amazing value for only $15. It could have almost passed as a full blown retail title.

I just saw that Shadow Complex is on sale for only $10 this week. That should make it a no brainer.

Doom. For the most part, I'm not a huge fan of first-person shooters, but the online deathmatch mode is friggin' addictive.

Most of the ones mentioned are good. My personal favorites are:
Castle Crashers (awesome co-op or single)
Bionic Commando
Mega Man 9
Heavy Weapon (fucking pwns)
Castlevania SOtN
Cloning Clyde (I bought this on a whim and REALLY enjoyed it)
DOOM (fuck yes)
Wolfenstein 3D (come on, its the only thing better than DOOM!)
If you didn't play portal from the orange box, get it. Great game.
TMNT is OK, but fairly short. If you liked it originally, its definitely a good sentimental game to have (and to play with friends). Same w/ Contra. I got Bubble Bobble and somehow expected more. Maybe its the goofy controls or something, but I was pretty disappointed in it on xbox. Gunstar Heros is fun, though I'm not sure I'd put it as a must buy.

Pinball FX if you like pinball. That game is awesome. The TMNT arcade game is amazing, and they have a load of classic arcade games on there. I found one of those arcade sticks and went to town.
