Here is the matching purple....I know it still has the old purple around the edges but I just whipped this up with MS Paint, I don't have time for the detail work right now.

thanks for the compliments guys. I had originally tried it with the lighter purple that the site uses, but it just didn't look right. I also tried to have the black border of the banner be the same lime green that the site uses. Personally I feel that having a slightly darker purple in the banner draws more attention to it, but like I said previously, I still have the .psd in case we feel like messing with it any.

I think the design is awesome ( nice work FNJ ) ....but I suggest a test run with the lighter purple.

I think this looks MUCH better. Not only does it match the rest of the site, but by making the purple match it draws your attention to the actual words in the banner, and not to the fact that it kinda clashes with the other purple.
