What was the very first movie you ever saw in theaters.

For me i believe it was either Little Mermaid or Jurassic Park it is a tough call since it was such a long time ago.

But hey maybe you people will have a better recollection than me.

Fuck if I remember, I was so young. I was thinking it was either the July 1985 re-release of E.T. or one of the many 1980s re-releases of classic Disney movies. I asked my mom, and she said the first movie she remembers taking me and Jeebus to see was Fantasia, which was re-released into theaters in February 1985.

The first movie Krislexia "saw" in theaters was Jurassic Park. She was 3 months old.

The first movie I ever remember seeing was "Throw Mama from the Train" in 1987 when I was 4. Of course I don't remember every detail from being there but I remember the experience in general quite well. Your first buttery move theater popcorn bite never leaves the brain.

I think the first movie I saw in theaters was either The Care Bears Movie or E.T. (I remember my mom left me to go get some snacks and I was scared shitless when all the guys are looking around the forest at night)
First Drive In: I think it was a double feature of RV and Over the Hedge.
First IMAX: Watchmen.

Probably The Little Mermaid. I remember my grandma taking me and my sister to the theater for that one.

There may be others, but the first movie I remember seeing was "Cloak & Dagger" at the Drive In, I don't remember in any detail, but I believe I might have seen Wrath Of Khan at the theater with my mom, But I'm not sure. I'm 100% sure about Cloak & Dagger, though.

The earliest I can remember is Apollo 13, which is a pretty late first for me. But before that all I'm coming up with is VHS after VHS.

Jesus dude....1980? Were you a baby?

I am pretty sure the first movie I saw in theatres was perhaps T2, although the first movie I can vividly remember seeing is Congo.

Still love that movie.

Some of the earliest movies that come to mind are Toy Story, Austin Powers, and Lost in Space. I doubt any of those were my first though.

My memory is hazy, but I recall seeing 101 Dalmations. I think I was 5 at the time.

I believe it was the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And the only thing I can remember of that whole experience was standing in line with my friend and seeing the poster for TMNT II (they were released really close together, I believe) before we got in and freaking out about it because we figured the two shadow figures were Bebop and Rocksteady.

Beethoven's 2nd. I don't remember much about the film itself, but I know for sure that was the first I ever saw in theatres.

I think it depends on the PG-13 movie. As for R-rated movies, I'd agree with most of them.

Jurassic Park III, yeah probably the latest movie here, I never ever thought about going to the movies, and my mom decided not to take me until I was 12.
