This tends to happen more often with collector-oriented toylines than with children's toylines, but if any of your favorite toylines from your youth never finished, feel free to list them here.
The two toylines I would like to see go back into print more than anything are:
1. The Adult Swim line by Palisades Toys.
What was released: A promo Master Shake, Series 1 (4 two-figure sets, 4 rare alternate versions)
Why it stopped: Palisades went bankrupt
What wasn't released: Series 2 (advertised on the back of the Series 1 packaging), an Incredible Plum Meatwad originally meant as a Comic Con exclusive.
Why it was awesome: Series 1 featured figures from the Golden Age of Adult Swim: Sealab, The Brak Show, Harvey Birdman, and ATHF.
Why it wouldn't work now: Three of the shows featured in the toyline have been cancelled and rarely ever air on Adult Swim anymore.
1. The Guilty Gear X by Epoch.
What was released: Series 1, which consisted two figures: Sol Badguy and Millia Rage
Why it stopped: Lack of interest?
What wasn't released: Every other character from the video game.
Why it wouldn't work now: It would, but a GGXX line would make more sense.
