Check it guys, I got my tattoo redone on Wednesday. Some of you may vaguely remember the old one which was about twice the size of a quarter. It was faded and raised and stupid (all thanks to the artist as it turns out). So I went in and got it done about 5 times bigger. I absolutely love it now. It's hurting like a motherfucker though because when Frank did the original, he went too deep and scarred me, so Avi had to tattoo over scar tissue. But it's healing nicely! And it's actually worth showing off now.
PS. Just in case you thought I was a band-wagon jumping, cliche-wearing douche, this tattoo is inspired by the first comic I ever got published in.

Very cool ink. Also big ups for getting a tattoo that means something to you.
I'll be getting three on my back starting in October, all of which will be connected and mean something. I'll post those pictures when I get them too.

Sweet man. Yeah everybody, post pictures of your tats if you have em!
I got lots of other tattoo ideas, all with special meaning to me. A lot have to do with my last name and Scottish heritage, and I also plan on getting a portrait of each kid I have over my heart.
Also, because it's been my favorite album since before I was born and hasn't lost any of its charm, I plan on eventually getting the cross from the cover for 'Appetite For Destruction' on my back.

I like the heritage idea. That's basically the theme of the three-item tattoo group i want to get on my upper back. At the top of the triangle, I want to get my family crest. Just below it and to the left, the royal English coat of arms (for my dad's side) and below right, the royal German coat of arms (for my mom's side). I am thinking about having the three "tied" together somehow, but I'm not quite sure what yet.
Also, if I ever get drunk enough, I think it would be cool to get a fun tattoo that isn't quite so meaningful. I may end up with a Boo tattoo on my shoulder someday. A boy can dream.

I do like the tat, myself I need to shrink in size, drop some LB's before I get any of the tats I would like. For the other arm whatever it is, it should be of a large enough size to balance you out, and not be overwhelmed with the size on one arm only.
