Dawson will also star.
Yep... good things coming out our way

I haven't read the OCT comics, but the art in them is pretty good for being not Marvel or DC. Who knows, maybe the story isn't bad either....but I think we only have one guy that buys it because he thinks Dawson's hot.

Aside from OCT, I would rather gouge my eyes out than watch any of these films.

Fun Fact: The Rogue Pictures division of Focus Features was speficially created to release Seed of Chucky. That's pretty damn cool.

Yeah, Rosario Dawson created that alright, that's not at all the basis of the B.P.R.D. from Hellboy, no, she just came up with that all by herself.

Since Transformers is coming to doom us all, let's throw in another toy line to milk for the sake of cinematic wonderment. I'd like for anyone to either add to this list or come up with plot concepts on it (if I'm in the wrong place for this let me know, this being my first post and all, sorry in advance):
Micro Machines
....that's about all I got, really.

Ha! Except Vin's kinda booked until 2009
Of course, if he sits in a car and doesn't move the whole film, that should be alright.

A few films catching my eye:
Fantastic Mr. Fox
A fox uses its wits and cunning to outfox three dimwitted farmers who tire of sharing their chickens with the fox and resort to a shock-and-awe offensive.
Writer: Wes Anderson Noah Baumbach
Studio: Twentieth Century Fox Animation
Genre: Family Animation
To be adapted from Roald Dahl's classic tale. Scott Rudin and American Empirical's Wes Anderson will produce. Anderson will also direct.
This has been announced for awhile.
Stepfather
Centers on the perfect stepfather's impact on the family dynamic.
Writer: Brian Burns
Will Ferrell, Adam McKay & Chris Henchy will produce. Paramount Vantage's Amy Israel & Chad Hamilton will oversee.
Odd producing choice.
Animated America
A misfit teen is completely lost and doesn't fit in when his girlfriend leaves town after graduation and he's forced to find himself.
Writer: Peter Ackerman
Studio: Walt Disney Pictures
Genre: Comedy Drama
Landscape's Bob Cooper and ImageMovers' Robert Zemeckis & Jack Rapke will produce. Film will be a mixture of live-action and animation.
This sounds like a certain John Cusak movie to me...
Burn After Reading
A CIA agent loses the disc of the book he is writing.
Writer: Joel Coen Ethan Coen
Ethan Coen will also produce. Joel Coen will also direct. George Clooney will star.
Syriana sequel? I think so... you know, if Clooney had... um, "come back to America" at the end. Should be better than "Intolerable Cruelty".
Cobalt 60
In a postapocalyptic world inhabited by mutants and fantastical creatures, a masked hero, Cobalt 60, embarks on a quest to avenge his parents, who were murdered by the evil Strontium 90.
Writer: Vaugh Bode (author)
Studio: Universal Pictures
Genre: Action
60's cult comic book created by Vaugh Bode. Zack Snyder & Debbie Snyder will produce. Zack Snyder will also direct. Universal's Dylan Clark will oversee. No screenwriter is attached as yet.
I doubt this movie will ever get made.
Factor X
A black counterterrorism expert from Washington teams up with a Wichita police detective, who spent his career trying to chase down the infamous BTK killer, and invents a data reduction process to mathematically rule out suspects. The killer turns out to be a mild-mannered leader at a local church.
Studio: New Line Cinema
Scott Free's Michael Costigan will produce. Victoria Fredrick and Gregory Allen Howard will also produce. Ridley Scott to possibly direct. Eric Bana and Terrence Howard will star.
eh...
Voltron: Defender of the Universe
Five maverick explorer-pilots must travel to the planet Arus to learn how to operate Voltron, a giant mechanical warrior formed by five smaller robots.
Prod. Co: Gordon Company, Mark
Genre: Science Fiction
Logged: 7/26/2005
To be based on the 80’s children’s TV series. Mark Gordon Co.’s Mark Gordon will produce. Pharrell Williams, Mark Costa and Ford Oelman will executive produce. Williams will score the film and produce the soundtrack.
Pretty much what it says on the imdb... A year old though.

Faces of Death
Depicts the gruesome and varied ways people and animals can die via explicit footage.
Prod. Co: Rogue Pictures Angry Films
Genre: Horror
Remake of the series of gory videotapes from the 70s and 80s. Rick Benattar, Susan Montford and Don Murphy will produce. John Burrud will executive produce. J.T. Petty will direct.
Okay, this is just weird. How the heck do you remake snuff-ish tapes into a feature film? I guess if anyone can it'll be Rogue...
Street Fighter
Storyline is being kept under wraps, but wil focus on the game's most popular female fighter, Chun Li.
Writer: Justin Marks
Prod. Co: Hyde Park Entertainment Capcom Ltd.
Genre: Action
Based on the popular videogame. Hyde Park's Ashok Amritraj and Capcom Ltd. will produce.
Damn it...Didn't Jackie Chan already make a Chun-Li movie?

There was a movie where jackie chan dresses up as, amongst other characters, chun-li.
Honestly if they dont fuck it up this could be good. Chun-li is one of the few characters in street fighter that doesnt exist in a vacuum. Unlike Ryu, who is for all intents and purposes a cardboard cutout, chun li has an entire story to write about. Ken would also be a viable choice. Alex could work. Guile is insignificant to street fighter in general, so I dont wanna hear nothing about that.
I'm also pleased to hear they are focusing on one character, versus a deadly battle to get as many cameos as possible.
Its really gonna need some good writing and choreography.

I am too, even if Chun-Li isn't my first choice to focus a movie on.
There's also a writing group/club that believes as you do, because they focus on writing "Mortal Kombat" movies where each writer focuses on one individual character/storyline. (and I may or may not be affiliated with the group and may or may not be doing a "Black Dragon" script...)
