Well, Super Mario Bros 1 & 3, Simon's Quest, and Legend of Zelda are probably my all time faves. But I'm also a big fan of Maniac Mansion, the Dragon Warrior series, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Punch Out, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, Castlevania 1 & 3, Shadowgate, Deja Vu, Uninvited, Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom, Life Force, Double Dragon...

Hell, I love a lot of games. I feel like if I don't list several, I'm leaving something out.

It sounds like you don't like any of the oddball 2nd games.

Favorite nes games? Let's see, back in the day I played the hell out of Sky Shark so that's a favorite of mine. Super C got replayed a lot, too. Metroid got its fair share of gameplay. My parents made my brothers and I cut down on video games for playing too much Super Mario Bros. 3. Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt was a fun cart. Gotcha! was a fun light gun to play while Baby Boomer kind of sucked. Addams Family was a fun but frustrating game. Super Sprint was a good rental. Bubble Bobble provided hours of fun. Man, the memories.

Yeah, I like Castlevania II the best. I like SMB2 a lot. I just like the other two better. I just wouldn't say part 2 is a contender for my favorite NES game. The other two are.

Contra. Even the EU revision which replaces every character WITH ROBOTS.

You should totally check out the IRC channel.
While you're at it, go check out my band, Her Majesty's Heroines.

Wow, you listed a few awesome ones I totally forgot to mention. I Deja Vu and Maniac Mansion too. (I actually never new that the NES version of MM was a port of a computer game until I read it on Sydlexia, LOL)
