Looks pretty cool, I might even consider playing it. Although the last one I played was about 12 years ago or so in 8th grade (GOD im old).

But, has there really been 12 different iterations of this game? or has it been like the SF franchise where they just tweak things here and there, maybe add a character, rather than revamping things, like MK did?

Some have been small changes, some have shaken things up a shitload.

Damn, though. This is the best 2D fighter I've ever seen.

How about both of them, and then dump one of the like 15+ losers that their current roster has? Like I just bought XI, and you could easily dump Momoko. She sucks, and her existence gives excuse to let the decidedly pervy artists draw comprimising pictures of her. The chick with the riding crop doesnt exactly wow me either.

I like that Robert Garcia is Italian, but has the name Garcia, and looks like he'd be from Spain.

it's awesome that billy was included, but a power instinct character would be really rad too. I wonder what team billy will be on. they should jsut make a whole ROTD team with billy, jimmy and lynn.

also, we better not lose any MOTW characters because of this. I will be severely upset if my man tizoc is replaced by fucking big bear.

Nice, Billy rules.

As long as Robert Garcia is in there with command moves instead of charge ones, I'll be fine. I'll still be fine if he's charged, I'd just want it the other way.

And I hope this has online, so Jew and I can fight.

I'll probably be grabbing Virtua Fighter 5. EB Games was having a sale, and I saw the PS3 version for cheap, so I'm assuming the same is true for the 360 version.

I thought that too, but that is nto hte case.

I went and bought the game used at blockbuster for thirty, then saw the ps3 one new for 20 at gamestop, and was all like "god help them if they have it on 360" but it turns out that it's jsut hte ps3 sku for some reason.

The only thing that's disappointing to hear, is that the roster will only be 20 characters, so far confirmed are: Ash, Kyo, Benimaru, Terry, Ryo, Robert, Shen Woo, Leona, Ralf, Athena, and Kim. From the above posts, it seems Andy, Raiden, and RotD Billy are rumored, and other sources say Iori, Elizabeth and Daimon are confirmed. I hope Clark makes it in...

BTW Terry no longer has Buster Wolf or Power Dunk, ouch. It also looks like Kyo is reverting back to his 94 moveset.

I'm glad that Shen and Ralf are in, but I want to see K', Clark, and perhaps Adel. I also wouldn't mind seeing Rugal be put in as a console-exclusive boss of sorts just to see him in these graphics.
