[noob]
Quick open question to anyone that is willing to lend some input-
I'm about to buy a new laptop since I virtually am being forced to by my future academic program . That being said, I don't want to go TOO overboard on price. I basically need a machine that I can do a lot of work on (write papers, run SPSS Stat analysis software, PP, that kinda crap), but that I can also play games like Rainbow Six and CS on.

I know that laptops aren't really built for gaming, but let me ask anyone who has some background in this sorta thing, do you think the following specs would be sufficient to run the games I've mentioned cleanly?

-Intel Core Duo Processor (2MB cache, 1.60Ghz)
-1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
-60Gig HD
-256MB NVIDIA GeForce7300 Graphics Card

I know that a faster processor would be ideal, but it also jacks the price up quite a bit.

Anyone have any input?

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.
