Since the Wii's launch, I have been clamoring for some light gun compilations, as it the first system that can support easily direct ports of classic arcade gun games without an additional peripheral.

Sega has finally answered my prayers... sort of.

They are giving us House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return, a compilation with ports of the middle two HOTD games. Of course, one has to wonder why they couldn't have bothered to give us all four games on one disc, especially since HOTD4 has NEVER been released on a home console.

I still have hope that the original HOTD could end up being a secret unlockable though. And at an announced price of 29.99, two classic rail shooter isn't terrible anyway. Three would be even better though. But hell, I'd rather have all four games at 49.99.
