Exactly like all the other Fire Pro games made from PSX and up.
They're fun, but they seem to be limited in my expirence.
No Mercy is still the best.

Is New Year's Day really your birthday? If so, happy birthday.

I could've picked it up for $20 at my local GameStop, but they also have King of Fighters XI and KoF 2006 (yes, 2006. I hadn't heard of it before either) for $20. I'll take KoF over Fire Pro any day.

I still wanna get this and nab some of the roster saves people have made, so I don't have to put in 9000 hours of work into wrassler creation.
Also, No Mercy's AI was too stiff imo. WCW/nWo Revenge 4 lyfe.

oh I didn't make these, another guy on the site did for a future article. my DOB is actually in march, these are unfinished.
I think KOF 2006 is just KOF Maximum Impact 2, which if it's anything like the first game, you don't want it.
KOF XI and NGBC are each going for 15.88 at my local sams, you should look in your area and see if the same is by you.

I'll check it out, but usually our Sam's only has 360 and PS3 games.

The problem with Revenge is that you can only win by submission in multiplayer.

I don't remember that at all, I'll have to pop the game in later to test that out.
Edit:
Yeah, you can pin in multiplayer. You better check your settings before the match starts Syd, and make sure Pin is set to "Yes".

No, you can technically pin, but all the player has to do is hit the analog if I remember correctly. It's nearly impossible to do.

I know in WCW vs. NWO World Tour, the joystick will kick you out of anything, but it's cheap and technically cheating. Just have a house rule that you can't use the joystick to break pins and everything else.

I'm okay with that, over not being able to even land one move on some AI shitty midcarder like Road Dogg.

I liked how AKI corrected the problem in the WWF games.
In Revenge, the Analogue would kick out of anything. In No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000, if you hold the stick, you can't kick out. In fact if you get knocked down and then hold the stick, you will not get back up until you release the stick.

The analog couldn't break a submission until it went through at least one full animation though, thus you could still make someone tap out.
