For some reason I think this is really sad. I've enjoyed all the books of his that I've read. Especially Good Omens which he wrote with Neil Gaimain. If you haven't read it you should. It's the funniest book about the apocolypse that I know of.

Oh man, That sucks. First robert jordan and now this. well, at least we can still enjoy a few more diskworld visits. unlike the wheel of time that was supposed to have one more monsterous book. I still want to know how that ended.

The Wheel of Time will get its ending. Jordan outlined all the major plot points to his estate and a ghostwriter will finish it.
I hope so. At least I still got time to get to that point. I've been reading these at a slow pace over the past year. That way I can keep interest and not get burned out.
