It's like their interpretation of "remastering" something consists adding a bunch of unneeded instruments and crappy synths. The trumpets during the chorus of the remastered version of "Luca" make me wanna die. I don't really understand why anyone thought the original soundtrack needed a remaster in the first place, it's not like it wasn't recorded with a real live orchestra.

On Before the Storm, the piano-synthesque instrument that kicks in at 0:52 sounds flat in the new version...

I think they improved the laugh scene in the Japanese version.
Ugh. But the OST was so beautiful...why must you mess it up

That is one horrifying yet hilarious laugh.
That whole remasterd OST debate reminded me of the Secret of Mana remastered OST.
They screwed that one up pretty hard too.

That i bought the terrible port of Bloodstained for the Switch.
The game looks in some areas like a PS1 game. Not even exaggerating.
It has massive slowdowns and it crashes in the middle of cutscenes.
Simply put: a complete waste of money.

David Cage, the other M. Night Shyamalan of movies.
Escvort missions, water and ice levels: Always tedious, impossible to control and frustrating.
Game companies that fuck us over, like Microsoft after the 2013 conference, E.A. in general and Bethesda after last year's conference.
First Person Shooters: They have been completely homogenized and boring decades, yet they never fucking stop.
Battle Royales: How did F.P.S.es get even worse?
Konami turning against us: It made classics like Castlevania, Contra, Jackal, Parodius, Twinbee, Ai Senshi Nicole, Metal Gear Solid, Batman and Robin for the SNES, etc. and now they are gone. I hope the new Contra will remind us of the glory days.
Games that are much worse on some systems: Batman and Robin on the SNES is one of my favorite games, but the Genesis version is one of my most hated games,

People assuming that WoW: Classic fans are addicts. Most people aren't playing 12 hours a day, peeing into bottles, and getting divorces. Stop spreading this fake nonsense.

I know about 3-4 people that played WoW.
All of them were addicted, neglecting mayor parts of their life in the process.
So much for the "fake nonesense".
But i also don't believe that every person that plays a couple of rounds WoW will show this behaviour.
It probably has something to do with the monthly fee you pay, making you think that you "lose money" if you don't play.
And a couple of other factors rooted in the game-mechanics.

I mean, I play WoW. I enjoy it, but def not addicted.
And the only beef I have with Classic fans are the ones who are snobby assholes who tell me I'm a baby for wanting to play retail instead.
Like. I already did that shit. Don't want to do it again. I like the characters I've put all that time into, and I don't want to start over. That doesn't make me lesser than you. Dicks.

I can't stand that there are two different versions of Minecraft for PC. Apparently the Windows 10 version isn't compatible with the mods from the Java version, despite the Windows 10 version being mostly superior.

The Java codebase is a giant jenga tower waiting to fall apart at a moment's notice. It would have been near impossible for MS to keep adding all of the new features they have in mind, because the Java code had reached it's limit. So they rebuilt the entire game from scratch in C#.

I read the story of Shin Megami Tensei, and it was the most depressing story ever. I still feel like playing through the translated ROM anyway because I'm a depressed mess.

With all the time I spend gaming, I often forget that it largely depends on the power grid. Case in point: I'm currently doing a binge on the Star Fox series, now working on the second game via a repro cart. Having misread something on GameFAQs, after finishing the game for the fourth time (Pilot Fox, Wingman Miyu), I waited over ten minutes for a hidden tune to play, not realizing I have to beat Expert mode for it. So I pushed start and, as the game tallied my score, a power surge knocked out the cable for a second and turned off the console. My score was intact on the Record screen, but my initials were blank because I never got to enter them and there's nothing I can do about that. Not that it'll ultimately matter, since still have 26 more playthorughs before I move on to Star Fox 64, by which time it'll be long-buried.

Nothing like buying a PS3 controller on Ebay labeled perfect condition, only for it to arrive busted. Fucking liar scumbags! Scratches all over it, the analog sticks are all crooked, and I have to push really hard to get X and O to respond. I'm never using this fucking site again because of all the junk.
Anybody know any good alternative sites to buy games and hardware? I know of places like Lukie Games, but they are a bit pricey. Are they worth it?
EDIT: Also, are there any repair places you would recommend?

I have all 9 Ys games, along with a PSP to play Ys Seven, still waiting on the case for it, scheduled to start the binge in May, when the decade comes into its own...
...and now Ys X's been announced and I don't know when it'll hit our shores.

Those of you who've seen my/the current third-to-last post in the achievements thread will recall how I finally beat Burai Fighter on Friday the 13th, of all days. One of the games I got last Christmas was the Game Boy port, which has "Deluxe" appended to the title, despite a certain two stages having been cut, due to the inability to display color. No reviews for it exist on GameFAQs, but contemporary ones praised the port for its merits, even if they knew there were better choices. Funny how they all neglected to mention the RANDOM, INEXPLICABLE DEATHS IN THE MIDDLE OF BOSS FIGHTS THAT MAKE WINNING THEM MORE A MATTER OF LUCK THAN SKILL! The NES version was a hard game, but it never once pulled that shit on me. Deluxe, my ass!
EDIT: Apparently, that issue never came up because no one knew about it until no earlier than 1998, when the Game Boy Color came out and anyone who played the game on it experienced the glitch.

Embeded Youtube videos being "unavailable" pisses me off. These videos were helpful and now I have no idea what the post means.
