This is one of the more insane projects I've been pursuing, but late last year I started going through and transcribing all of the old JonTron era Game Grumps videos. I developed a really organized system for detailing information from each episode and I try to maintain as high fidelity as I possibly can, including the random fucking noises that Arin and Jon make.

I try to do at least a little every day, being able to bang out the more typical ~10 minute episodes once a day. As soon as video lengths get to 15 minutes or more, it takes me multiple days because I get discouraged and don't feel like dealing with it.

I never really thought of it that way before, but perhaps I'm stuck back in 2012. It might explain some things. Oh, it's terrible!

FYI, I have a Discord that exclusively discusses Madden 95, and I just began a project where I am transcribing old Iron Chef videos.

Drew mang? Real talk? I don't think you should be transcribing GameGrumps videos. This just doesn't seem like a healthy activity. Definitely seems like a giant albatross in the making.

You've got important things ahead of you that are better deserving of your attention and hustle. Trust me, I can see your future and stuff. Smile

But seriously Drew, this is bottom of the barrel stuff. Take a walk, bud. Get sunshine. Smoke a cigar. Eat a spicy chicken sandwich with a beer buzz. Do anything but transcribe screaming man children yelling at inanimate video game code.

Autism is a powerful thing dude. Not to say that I don't also do other stuff, but when I've got nothing to do for the evening I just type out an episode for an hour or so to fill the time. It's extremely therapeutic.

I'm kidding, I actually got into a slump and haven't transcribed anything for the last month. This happened last semester too, so maybe it's just temporary.
