Anyone else addicted to this game? Normally I'm not much a fan of first-person shooters, but the variations in heroes and (for the most part) lack of one-hit-kills make it a lot more strategic and fun for me than any other FPS I've played.
I've been playing for almost a year now and my mains are Bastion, Junkrat, Orisa, Symmetra, and Torbjorn, for what it's worth.

It's a decent game (it is Blizzard, after all). Every time I played this game I got nasty messages from what I am assuming is the (mostly) children who play this shit, so I stopped playing it. If you like getting harassed by 12 year olds, or if you are into e-sports, this game is for you.

Despite all the recent articles about Overwatch having a toxic community, I can't recall ever receiving hatemail in this game. I play on Xbox, so I wonder if this is more prevalent in the PC version?

Same, except I play on PS4. I have yet to experience any of the alleged "toxicity" I keep reading about so I'm assuming it's primarily a PC problem.

Are you guys primarily playing with friends or going solo? If you play with friends you are more likely not to experience toxicity (groups seem to be safe spaces from this in my experience). FPS games, regardless of platform usually have pretty toxic communities. Xbox has annoying teenagers, kids and middle aged people hurling racial slurs and sexual crap, PS has more college age - 30ish year olds who just tell you you suck and are shit, but are generally less vile, while PC has the most vile motherfuckers in existence, who will find out details of your life and harass you offline if you piss them off. I guess you guys are just lucky. I don't really have any gaming buddies so I get to experience it all and it sure drains the fun out of some games.

Hahahahahahahaha
In seriousness, I was addicted to this game for the course of like a year. I was maining Roadhog and even got to diamond for a few seasons with him, I felt pretty good about it. But then they nerfed him to fucking hell and now I don't have the motivation to get into the game again (between my inability/unwillingness to adapt to a better hero and time constraints).
Might get back into it in the future, we'll have to see. Competitive always has been and still is a joke though, so maybe not.

Moira has replaced Bastion as my main, but otherwise I feel the same as before.

I actually own it and played it for a while but i never really gotten into it.
I found the map layout to be confusing and overall the fights are chaotic and unsatisfying to me.

I can understand that if the fights aren't enjoyable for you, then there's not much point in sticking around.
I will say that in the first few matches that my crew and I played, we were all pretty confused too. The map layouts take awhile to memorize, and that's difficult to do on top of learning what each character (enemy) can do. It all starts to sink in after a while, though!

Too many people play it now. Seems its more appealing to a younger generation or something. Ive played better games but I can see the pick up and play appeal of it.
