No. Sorry but that would be terrible

The only terrible thing about that idea is Nintendo would be making money off of the same great games, again. It would be an improvement over 99 percent of current smartphone games.

I agree. I've went the emulation route and I quickly found that touchscreens just don't translate well into NES/SNES controls. Playing games that weren't made for touchscreens with just a touchscreen sucks. I wouldn't even play them for free, let alone buy them.

Nintendo should just put all their resources into amiibos, make one last quick buck, and shut down.

I used to have a slider phone; actual buttons like those would make playing classic Nintendo games easier. The phone market has moved away from those though...
