I was sickened to hear that they will not be releasing "The Interview" in theaters, due to North Korea getting all upset about the film depicting Kim Jong Un or whatever. I think it's pretty sad that we are gonna let other countries decide what we get to watch now. What are your thoughts??

I'm with you. I mean what's next? Thank god record companies don't have the power they once had, we wouldn't be able to hear certain albums and shit. Did they pull a bunch of movies back in the 40's when WW2 was going on? Nah.... They were like 'FUCK YOU HITLER'! What a weak ass bunch of people that run that company.

The movie itself looks kind of dumb, but it should definitely be released, for the sake of free speech.

I agree with all of you, but I heard they are still releasing it. Maybe on DVD and Blu Ray. I don't remember where I saw that news though.

Honestly, this has been free publicity for the movie. With the release date imminent, the critical reviews were not kind. Among Top Critics, the film has a 21% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Without this controversy, the movie would have bombed. Now, everyone wants to see it.

I wanna see it only because I like Seth Rogen's sense of humour. I could care less about the hype but I think it's totally disgusting that they cancelled a fucking film because some little spoiled brat on the other side of the world threw a widdew tantwum. I guess the hackers threatened violence if it was shown, funny how they can track all these people's IP addresses who are trading snuff films/illegal porn/selling weed online or the Pirate Bay dude but they can't figure out who the fucking hackers that are threatening innocent people's lives over a movie are?? Fuck the government, fuck SONY and fuck that fat little bitch Kim Jong Un! He hangs out with Dennis Rodman so I KNOW he has a sense of humour! C'MON!!!!!!!

I found the idea that North Korea would even threaten to nuke the USA or otherwise over a film to be both hilarious and retarded.
