Pulp Fiction. Not sure what to say about it other than weird, but enjoyable.

That's one of my favorite comedies, man. I love the history class scenes with Sam Kinison. I miss that guy. Glad to see G4 playing it lately.
My girlfriend made me watch the CGI movie of Yogi Bear last night. I was totally surprised that it wasn't total crap. Laughed in a lot of places, which was a shock to me. There's a lot of actors in there that I like from other stuff, too. I just feel embarrassed that it didn't seem awful to me.

Jeremiah Johnson. Beautiful scenery and some colorful characters to boot. Even though I grew up camping and whatnot with the Boy Scouts, the wintry mountains remind me what a luxury home furnaces are!

I just watched The Secret World Of Arriety today. The movie is fantastic. Of course, I knew it was going to be because I have not yet seen a Studio Ghibli film that wasn't absolutely amazing.

I watched The Neverending Story and Circuitry Man.
I'd forgotten how annoying Bastion was.
And Circuitry Man was......odd.

Just watched Grave of the Fireflies. I kept hearing a snapping sound while I was watching it, and then I realized it was the sound of my heart breaking.

L.A. Streetfighter A.K.A. Ninja Turf
This definitely falls under the so bad it's good category. The fight choreography for the most part is excellent, which is apparently where the entire budget went. Nothing like a film that is made in Los Angeles, but done by a low budget Hong Kong production company, that not only badly dubs the Asian actors but also their American counterparts in the film.

One of the instances where the reality is actually far more badass than the movie. Go look up Liver-Eating Johnson on wikipedia.

Watched Tucker & Dale vs. Evil last night through netflix. A comedy-horror movie from the point of view of the hillbillies. Pretty neat, even though the premise ran a little thin after a half hour. "These college kids keep killing themselves!"
Waiting till Wreck It Ralph is available through netflix to watch it.

The Raid: Redemption. Do you like action movies? Do you like Kung Fu? This movie will give you an erection the size of the space needle. The scenes look like they were all shot in one take with engaging but not annoying camera angles, even the characters were interesting. I highly recommend it but the movie does have subtitles which puts some people off, but it never took away from the quality of the movie.

Alfred Hitchock's Number 17 was the last memorable movie i watched. It's black and white crime movie based on a stage play. It had extremly good camera shots, working with the shadows and the scenery. It was a blast.

High Noon with Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly, Lee Van Cleef, Lon Chaney Jr., Lloyd Bridges, etc. Lots of stars.
Its a real slow-burn kind of movie, really focusing on the mounting desperation. I think the final showdown scenes could have used some better editing; the pacing wasn't consistent. Still, a good movie over all.

Big Trouble in Little China. Starring Carter Wong and Victor Wong. In this movie, two Wongs make it right.
