Rocky. The first one. Never seen it before. Wasn't bad at all. Will probably get around to watching the others at some point.
Bad Ass. Got about halfway through it. I love Danny Trejo and the movie wasn't bad, but for some reason I couldn't focus on it. Maybe I should give it another try.

The first and second rocky are great films. The following films are good but for different more cheesy reasons.

Allow, did you see the second XF movie? |
I haven't seen it, no. I remember seeing the first film in the late 90s but i couldn't remember anything about it and i didn't really watch the show as a kid.
I'll probably buy it once i finish Series 9.

Steamboy, by the same guy that did Akira.
Strange movie. Highly enjoyable. It's the first movie I've seen with a steampunk theme to it, it's really impressive.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Terrible, terrible movie, but my wife likes it so I had to watch it on one of our evenings we had off together. Next time I get to pick the movie.

Any good?
I bought the "Midnight Horror Theater" DVD set from Wal Mart: 32 old horror movies for only $8? Hell yeah. I watched Satan's Slave (1976). It was a lot better than I expected it was going to be. Michael Gough (aka Alfred in the Batman movies) is a really creepy Satanist.
And I just saw "Get the Gringo." It's your standard 'prison movie' with a sort of "Payback" feel. A little above average, I'd say.

It's not bad. The best part is the last 10 or 15 minutes when the monsters become visible and the audience is treated to some pretty sweet stop motion animation.

There Will Be Blood and Prometheus. Both enjoyable in my book. Daniel Day Lewis is such a great actor, I liked his character in the movie a lot. I also enjoyed Michael Fassbender as the android David in Prometheus. He was slightly creepy, which I liked.

Paranormal Activity 4. Saw it in the theater and it was okay, about what I expected. Had a few scary moments though some of them were kind of telegraphed.

The 40 year Old Virgin, again. Seen it a few times and it's alright, good for a few laughs, but had such a cheesy (obviously written by a woman), disappointing ending. A majority of the movie was entertaining however.

I saw The Rolling Stones: Crossfire Hurricane on the 18th, really enjoyed it even though I'm not really a big Stones fan.

I watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil and Hobo With A Shotgun
...and that sums up my single-emoticon-reviews of the movies.

I just saw The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, a spoof of 50's B-Movies. It is damned hilarious, especially if you've seen a lot of actual B-movies.
