I really, really want to love these guys. They are everything I've been looking for in a modern metal band for the past however many years; traditional values, great look, great songs, actual singing. But there's one problem, the singer has no balls to his voice.
and I don't mean balls as in the guy has to sound like Phil Anselmo or the dickhead from Avenged Sevenfold. Dio had balls, Lemmy had balls, David Lee Roth had balls, Rob Halford had balls, Bruce Dickinson had balls. The lead singer of Ghost does not have balls. He sounds like he should be in REM.

I don't listen to Alice In Chains, but I'll gladly take someone who sounds like Layne Staley over this guy.

The only Mastodon song I've ever heard is Cut You With A Linoleum Knife. Their singer isn't bad. He reminds me of Mustaine at times.

He sounds like the Justin Bieber of metal. Although I do like the instrumentals.

The vocalist has no passion. It sounds to me like he is half-assing it on purpose. It's either that or he is singing like that to hide that he has a very limited vocal range.

Really? I loved it. I wasn't a fan of Blood Mountain but Remission kicks ass! I haven't heard the others.

Wow, what a disappointment. The song has a hell of a good build-up, then some Christian Rock singer takes the band hostage. I'll keep my eye out for side projects or lineup changes.

Say what you will, they put on a hell of a live show.
First time I heard of Ghost was waiting in line to see Opeth and Mastodon and they opened up and started the night off totally badass.

I agree. But i would not say that is bad. His voice has a... ghostly tone to it and i think that gives the band a unique sound. But yeah, no balls at all. Can't argue about that.
