Some movies are so bad that they're hilarious. Movies like Dead Alive and some of the Puppet Master movies spring to mind. My all-time favorite is Against The Dark starring an overweight vampire-hunting Steven Seagal wielding a samurai sword:

Rubber, a film about a murderous psychokinetic tire. It's just so weird, so damn weird! the cowboy!

Since I don't watch a lot of bad movies i'll have to pick something uninspired: The Room. It has to be the most hilariously bad movie ever.

Mine would be Poltergeist 3. Yeah it is pretty much recognized by everyone as being awful and Tangina gets killed in it which only makes it worse. Yet if I watch the first two I have to watch the third since it is on the same disc as the second and the first two are some of my favorite movies ever.
I don't watch a ton of terrible movies on purpose though. Sometimes I'll find one that people are saying is great and I watch and think it blows but those probably don't qualify.

Indeed an excellent combination. I also have an affinity for Point Break. Lots of great quotes and in my opinion one of Keanu's best/worst performances of his carreer.

Anyone ever seen anything by that UFO International company? Those movies are pretty much all garbage. I grabbed one by them called Lost Voyage at the video store as a free rental and the film used CGI for a helicopter and a rain storm. Not good CGI either, I'd almost have to describe it as cartoony while the movie was trying to be all serious and scary. It was pretty much a ripoff of that movie Ghost Ship except with shittier actors and really bad special effects, still I'd actually almost say it is slightly better. At least it was free I guess, though I wish it had been marked as something by UFO because I'd have rented something else.
Batman & Robin is the only movie I have ever seen in a theater that I walked out on and got my money back because it was so terrible.

I walked out on Spiderman 3. I had been hating it for sometime, but when he started dancing I just had to say, "Fuck this. I'm out."
I didn't ask for my money back. If I was dumb enough to see the reviews and still buy myself a ticket, I figure I pretty much had it coming.

That scene really was the last straw for the film.

Super Mario Bros. It's so bad but for some reason I do kinda like it. I'll blame it on nostalgia.

If you have not seen Troll 2 then you must do so now. Just do it. Buy it, torrent it - whatever. Just see it. There's even a documentary by one of the stars out recently called -'Worlds Best Worst Movie' or some such shit. Incredible.

I'm nearly certain we had a thread for this cause i remember commenting in it about Troma.
Troll 2 is defo the mainstream so bad it's good film. It's like the one that everyone knows about. Granted it's still fucking hilarious.
Also i've seen that Seagal film. I remember my mate rented it one day on his tv box and he was like this is going to be amazing.
I believe it spawned our line "The name is Tao". It was way too dark, you couldn't see shit and it was boring as fuck. It isn't even funny bad, it's just terrible.
