On Saturday, February 18, 2012, I made the 1989 NES game The Magic Of Scheherazade the newest addition to my retro collection.

On Sunday, February 19, 2012, I began to play it, but I stopped after completing Chapter 1 because I knew it would take too long.

On Monday, February 20, 2012, I started it up again, this time with intent to finish.

On Tuesday, February 21, 2012, I finished it.

Note carefully how I said nothing about turning it off between those last two days.

Culture Brain made a great game, to be sure, but there was a problem: It was a massive RPG, and yet, used complicated passwords instead of battery saves, basically Capcom's Willow times ten. I have long been an anti-password advocate, so I did what anyone else in my circumstances would do: I left the NES on overnight, trusting that it wouldn't crap out on me while I slept, which it indeed didn't. And now, here I am, another fresh password-free victory under my belt.

Suck it, Culture Brain! Suck it hard! I defied your pathetic password system to the bitter end! Where are ya now, bitches?!

At least with the passwords you don't have to replace the battery when it dies.

Also, this could have gone in the video game achievements thread.

It also has a vague title that is against the rules.

Yeah, I suppose it does. I expected his story to end with, "and then I raped my dog and ate my own balls" or something that was actually insane. Then the title would have fit.

Some typos:
Quote:

Titles of video games should be either italicized or underlined, though italics tend to be the standard.

This is a run-on sentence and really should be divided into two separate sentences to be grammatically correct.

This is another run-on sentence that could be fixed with a conjunction.

"It" should not be capitalized. This sentence is also a run-on, and again there is the issue with the video game title.

This is yet another example of too many clauses jammed together without proper conjunctions.

There is nothing really wrong here, though I think an interrobang would have been awesome.

Back in high school, one of the bands I played in was briefly called Interrobang.
