I couldn't imagine carrying a purse, like I think it'd get in the way too much.

Me either. I suppose you could go the old fashioned route and carry a briefcase everywhere since it is basically the male version of a purse and certainly sturdier than a pouch on some flimsy straps. It is also more rigid and has sharp corners should you need to defend yourself in a fight or something, making it superior to a purse. Very Happy Though it might look strange carrying one if you didn't have on a suit or fancy clothes at all times.

You know, I actually like messenger bags.
I know that kind of on some level contradicts what I said about purses, but I honestly like them and I would've used one in high school rather than a backpack.

It's a tri-fold, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love how many little compartments it has on the inside for various things. I really need to get a new one, though, it's the only wallet I've ever had and I've had it for almost eight years now. (And it's looking pretty battered; I've taken it to amusement parks and gotten on water rides, and it is totally not waterproof)

I really wanna get this:
http://www.amazon.com/Silent-Hill-Nurse-Logo-Wallet/dp/B0037CIY4M/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I22FRIFY7LGDIF&colid=1G4SCZ1HC6VNK
Yeah, it's only a bi-fold, but I already have a Silent Hill necklace and a Silent Hill keychain for my USB drive, I really just want as much Silent Hill accessories as possible. Razz

I also wish it was socially acceptable for men to carry purses, as I carry a crapload of stuff in my pockets at all times (which is why I love coats with pockets on the inside as well as carpenter jeans). I rarely go anywhere without a pencil, a pen, a small notepad, my lucky flashlight (haters gonna hate), my cell phone, my wallet (which always always goes in a front pocket), and usually a portable game console of some sort (usually my GBA SP as it's the smallest, but depending on whether or not I'm wearing a coat or carpenter pants or something I'll take my DSi with me).

QFT.

Eh, I'd rather have a Zelda one, or maybe Gorillaz.

If I used the one I'd have I'd be too worried I'd puncture a hole so I'd keep my stuff in two of those large freezer ziplocks

Also on an average day I have my wallet/money clip, pocket knife, cell phone, and keys.

I have a grey Nintendo messenger bag I got from the Nintendo World store in NYC a few years ago. Classic NES cartridge grey with Nintendo in white on it, not too big. I use it to carry games, books or cards when I go to friends' houses.

On an average day without a coat for me me I'd say my pants pockets will have my phone, my campus ID, and my iPod. My keys are on one of those clips they use for holding ropes during mountain climbing and such and usually get attached to my belt loop or my backpack strap if they are annoying me.

If I'm wearing a coat on the other hand I'll have my iPod, my phone, my wallet, some napkins from the cafeteria, some receipts, my campus ID, and random bits of change all stuffed into the pockets of the coat. Usually by the end of a week I'll have an impressive stack of napkins, grabbed while I'm getting food, on my desk that I've removed from my coat at the end of every day. Saves me having to buy them I suppose.

Mine's a plains brown leather trifold. It is kinda bulky, but I rarely carry it anywhere but my coat's breast pocket, so it's not really an issue.

Bi fold. I have a hard time convincing banks to trust me with credit cards and checks, so I don't need the extra slots Sad

Here's what I carry in my purse: my wallet, my checkbook, my register, a box cutter, my phone, my ipod, and keys. I try to carry the smallest purse possible. My wallet is rather small for a girl's wallet. Just a little tri-fold.

That would be correct for me. I don't have 300 dollars to waste on a smart phone when I already spent that on the iPod years ago. I see no real reason to upgrade anyway, my phone still works for the most part and I don't have to charge it every night like I would a smartphone. Plus if I really need the internet for some reason it is very rare for me to not have my laptop on hand around campus anyway. Maybe if my iPod were to die I'd buy one but right now it seems like throwing several hundred bucks in a fire for little to no gain.

My phone isn't a smart phone and does double an an MP3 player but was made back when phone manufacturers were stupid and made that tiny jack so they could sell their headphones with the little MIC attachments.
So that's why I have an MP3 player

Plus I don't really need a smart phone right now, all I do is call and text and that's all I need my phone to do.

Yeah, I just don't have the money for a smartphone. Since my last phone died, however, I'm looking into it. I'm kinda snobbish and I only like iTunes. So I use my cheap outdated iTouch off of Craigslist for now lol.

I do have a smart phone but I don't care to waste the battery on music when I have a separate device altogether that can play music for me. I already run through my battery life on it pretty quickly via texting, surfing the net, watching videos, n so forth.

My mp3 player is just a little cheap thing tho, and I got it before I got my smart phone.
