Congratulations to Douche and lava! There were some pretty good games along the way, and this was quite fun to watch.
Douche wins! Flawless victory.

This game shows why castling in the hippo is usually a bad idea. And I'll stop it for a while, the games were getting too weird :O
Douche had a sure mate 7 moves before the end, but he decided to screw around by doing random bullshit and extended the match by over 20 minutes as he took 3 minutes per move
I show how the game ended, and then how it SHOULD have ended (in fact the preview shows the exact moment where everything went to shit :O)

As someone who almost got eliminated during the divisional matches I'm really happy with the results

I'd change my avatar but it has to be 100x100 pixels and the firewall is preventing me from editting it myself.
lava, at the point where you could have taken his Queen or Bishop with your Knight, why did you take his bishop? I figured it was in fear of a checkmate with him using his rook. If you take the Queen, you aren't in danger of a checkmate, even if he moves his rook to H6. You could block with your own bishop to H3, he would take it with his rook, but then you could move your King to G2.
I could missing something though. I'm the asshole who made one of the biggest eff ups of the entire tourney.
Actually, he'd take with his bishop, and I wouldn't have any answer to Bxf1 checkmate.
The other reason is that I somehow thought my knight would have a defender there

I'm sorry...how could his bishop get to f1? I must not be very good with the chess annotations. Even if he captures your knight with his bishop...what's his next move?
Knight takes Queen, Rook checks, Bishop blocks, Bishop takes Bishop, I do whatever (Qxf7+ would delay mate by a move ), then Bishop takes Rook mate.[/u]
