With no end to the current nose dive in sight.
They used the rationale that the Cowboys were "America's Team" and what could help you integrate into American Society better then liking the Cowboys.

The only reason I ever had to be interested in Cardinals game was to see Kurt Warner play. That guy was just a stand out guy, a lot better role model than Michael Vick or Ben Rothelsburger. Plus he had the sense to stay retired when he did retire.

He was more machine than man. His bionic arm was an unfair advantage.

Yeah he had no problem being blitzed because you couldn't hurt him. No matter how many times he got hit he kept pushing downfield, it was a little frightening to be honest. I wouldn't have wanted to be the defensive coordinator against him.

Pfft...fuck the Super Bowl. Seems like every other year now the goddamn Steelers are there. Fuck those guys. |
Because they are in the Super Bowl every other year (3 times in 6 seasons). And yeah, it is annoying when the same teams keep popping up in the big game. As long as it isn't the Pats though, I'm fine with it.
What annoys me even more are playoff games we've already seen during the regular season. It seems like every playoff game this season was already played, sometimes twice. At least the Packers didn't already play the Steelers this season so the Super Bowl is kind of interesting in that regard.

There is a difference though, those fans do it when the game is close or when it seals a victory or some other cheer worthy aspect. Steeler fans will cheer for a 2 yard run on 3rd and 8, when they are on there own 22 yard line and up by 28 points.
In our area for some reason Buffalo is considered our local market even though we are in PA and much closer to Pittsburgh, hell we are even closer to Cleveland, regardless the games are not usually on TV so the bars are packed with Steeler fans, God forbid your team plays the Steelers and wins. |
Rooting for your team. What a horrible thing.

I can't stand the fucking Steelers. I hope their bus wrecks into a fuel truck and burns to the ground.

Yeah, to be honest I much prefer fans that cheer for a 1 yard gain than the fans they have in Philly who boo every play.

I don't really hate them, I just don't care one way or the other about them. The Saints on the other hand...

Let me know the next time they take a bus to Dallas, maybe I'll feign concern.

Vald scores the extra worthless 60 points, which at least makes for a very impressive score.

Funny thing is, they weren't even my picks. They were my father-in-law's. I know far too little about football to have made informed decisions.
