Super Hornio Brothers is a classic, to be sure, but it isn't a game, it's a movie. |
Super Hornio Brothers is NOT a classic. The plot is incomprehensible, the costumes are barely used, and it's just over an hour long. I'm sorry, but a porno should run roughly 90 minutes, with 5 full scenes running 15 minutes each and then 15 minutes of story interspersed throughout. Sometimes they'd cut the scenes down to 12 minutes and you'd get 6 scenes in a movie.
Plus, the movie was made at a time when the porno industry was becoming increasingly greedy. Instead of shooting one 90 minute movie, they'd shoot 130 minutes worth of plot and scenes and then break it down into two 65 minute movies. So you get Super Hornio Brothers and Super Hornio Brothers 2 which were shot as one movie and then broken down into movies to maximize profits.
Also, while Ron Jeremy and Buck Adams were perfectly cast as Mario and Koopa, the movie features none of the top female talent of the era. Christy Canyon and Ginger Lynn were both retired at this point, but Ashlyn Gere and Tori Welles were huge during the era, and neither are anywhere to be scene. Neither are any of the other popular female stars of the era such as Victoria Paris, Angela Summers, Zara Whites, Debi Diamond, Britt Morgan, Selena Steele, Brittany O'Connell, Heather Hart, Nikki Dial, Deidre Holland, Madison, and Francesca Le. The female talent in the Hornio Brothers movies is completely forgettable, and the scenes just aren't that hot. And again, the plot makes absolutely no sense. People see the publicity stills of Ron Jeremy as Mario and assume that the movie is awesome. It's not. The publicity stills are the only good thing to come from those movies.
