Not the fact that there's a dog Deadpool, a zombie head Deadpool, a lady Deadpool and a little kid Deadpool. Not the fact that it's just one of like twelve comics that Deadpool will be in that month. No, they forgot that Deadpool is covered in hideous scar tissue from his cancer mutating. It's one of the cornerstones of the character, but, you know, whatever. Maybe I'm a stickler, but these things aren't hard to remember.

That's nonsense. People with flipper feet step on boobs all the time. Related to that image though, apparently somebody's a big fan of Liefeld. Or they got Liefeld to work for them again. Either way, yeah, terrible. Here come more huge guns, tracings and belt-packs galore!

For one, you can see he is still bald. And, two, Lady Deadpool was changed back to normal looks in either #5 or #6, so maybe the same thing happened to DP as well. (I haven't read the last few issues.)

Man, I just never saw what was the big deal about deadpool. It doesn't help that marvel has like 12 wacky as fuck comics staring him going on all the time.

might be a good diea to read the comic first? covers are often misleading.

also, deadpool is phenomenal. not because he's wacky, but because all of his nonsense seems to actually come together and have a reason at the end of the day. The entire thing where he was going to assassinate that guy for the X-Men is a good example of this.

The artwork's by Liefeld; you should feel glad that he at least bothered to draw a pair of feet.

That being said, the fact that he, the guy who made him (the artwork, not the personality), forgot such a detail is baffling. And yes, little X's over his body a hideously scarred man does not make.

And frankly, there's some marginal improvement over his artwork overall.

Marginal, mind you.

Here's my estimation of what Liefeld said when Marvel told him he could do art for them again.

"Aww, you mean Cable's dead? But I love ridiculously large guns and bulky shoulderpads. How's about you let me work on that Deadpool comic, the one with a whole bunch of 'em? That'll really help me get out my urge for Iron Age frappery. Let's give Headpool a gun. Why not? Strap some belt pouches to his head."

Ugh. There's a reason I quit collecting comics in the early nineties. Variant covers seem to be making a real comeback too. I'm waiting for a chrome debossed glow in the dark multiple issue gatefold cover before I just switch over to graphic novels completely.

Part of the super soldier serum's side effects may include sliding of the ENTIRE SPINAL CORD to the right shoulder. Also a Wonder Woman symbol on your forehead??!?

They're doing that again, actually. Mac Gargan is going back to being Scorpion and somebody else (not Eddie, who is Anti-Venom) is going to be Venom instead. I saw the new picture of him on Newsarama and he looks like he ate a tank.

Hey, I like super-jacked up Venom! I think that's the best looking Venom when he's more of a raging monster than an anti-hero.

That really sucks. Gargan as venom was delightful. He made me fall in love with the character all over again.

I should clarify that I like the look of giant Venom, not the "My only concern is eating people's organs and shaking my fist at Spider-Man" attitude he had at the time.
