I have a couple Ideas for a competition, but seeing as you guys are the gurus of cool, I thought I'd ask your input. Any game any system any goal to achieve. We still have to finish up the "Wizard' rules and game outline, so I need a filler. Or anything I can use, I don't like thinking so much at the present moment.

For example the last tournament we had we played Duck Hunt round Robin style, 4 people went at a time on 4 different tv's at the game over screen the two with the best score/level moved on. Then they played the next game which I believe was Mario Kart, then the next game was Super Mario Bros. 1, for the final we had furthest along in Mega Man 2.

Kinda want to do the same thing, but if you have other ideas im open to anything. The kids/adults had a lot of fun with this.

With the Easter season coming up, maybe you could do something like Rayman Raving Rabbids and bunny peeps. Although, given how running on a pro-peeps platform went for me during the forum battles, the idea could be a wash.

Maybe you could do a highest score with Mercenaries mode in RE 4? Preferably the pier level.

That would be a good idea the RE4 thing, but I don't want to have pissed off parents of little kids not being able to play because of the rating. Parents can be tools, if there are any parents that come to the store on this site reading this...I know your nodding in agreement right now...because yes you are tools...not like a drill bit or a hammer but like a full blown, hydraulic press, or a jack hammer.

But in there defense it is kinda gruesome and what not.

I vote for nerd triathalon:

1) Each competitor must eat 2 dozen hot pockets.

2) Each surviving competitor must complete a dual marathon (84.39 km) in track & field. This may be difficult as power pads may wear out under the stress, or if people vomit on them.

3) Each surviving competitor of both previous events must prove their nerdness by winning 40 matches of Tennis for Virtual Boy.

1st place prize: a year's supply of Pez, with dispensers, and Ban deodorant
2nd place: Every episode of Reading Rainbow recorded on BetaMax
3rd place: A sandwich

If you're doing a "The Wizard" style competition, you have to have some balding old idiot say to the kids in a condescending and racist faux-asian tone, "NINJA GUY DEN!!!!!" Then make them play Ninja Gaiden.

LOL yea we need an orange jump suit though. Or we need to bring back the bear costume in all its glory. But ill be damned if im gonna put chicken wire back on top of my head. that shit hurts. We'll see though.
