I saw Wall Street-Money Never Sleeps Friday afternoon. I enjoyed it and thought it was an overall good movie. Not as good as the original but still decent. Some of the stuff was a bit confusing. I liked the acting and Shia LaBeouf actually did a pretty good job. Michael Douglas also was pretty good. Josh Brolin also was very good. Charlie Sheen has a small cameo which I though was a nice touch. He was rumored to be doing a cameo but people thought he might not be in it because of all his legal problems. If you liked the original you'll probably enjoy this one even though the original is a superior movie.

I didn't see the original Wall Street but I saw this one.

I thought it had a lot of layers and stuff going on. I'm not a fan of Shia LaBeouf, I think he could have been recast and it wouldn't have hurt the movie at all. Douglas was spot on nailing every scene though. He's so easy to believe as Gordon Gekko.

This movie has made me want to watch the original movie.

Well worth seeing the original, G. Wonderful film.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this one. I was excited when I saw it advertised, and I'm glad to hear it didn't embarrass the original. From the trailer, I was rather afraid it was going to try to be far too political (given the current anti-Wall Street sentiment going around) but it sounds like they pretty much stuck to just telling a good story. Good for them; Geko is a great character.
