I just feel like complaining about my teeths. I have two wisdom teeth growing horizontally and it's really annoying. There's always food stuck between them and the next tooth.

By looking on wiki, it seems those fucking wisdom teeth like to grow at random angles. Anybody else has had problems with wisdom teeth?

If you don't want to talk about teeth, complain about what you want, except me.

I had mine taken out a couple years ago. All four of them. They seemed to be growing in fine to me, but apparently they weren't straight enough so I had to get them sawwed out of my body. I've never been put under before that was pretty fun...except when they told me that there's a slight chance I might not wake up. Something about the mixture of the shot and the gas.

After they finished they let you lay there for a couple minutes then they angrily wake you up and tell you to leave...kinda like a guy paying a prostitute. Except this Guy broke my jaw. "It was the only way to get to the teeth." That and the stitches were so annoying. I kept trying to untie them with my tounge.

The Drugs were nice though...just don't eat Egg Drop Soup or you'll turn white as a ghost and teleport to a bathroom and violently vomit. True Story. I dont remember walking to the bathroom, I just appeared there.

I only have 3 wisdom teeth. My dentist was kind enough to remove the molars that were above them so the wisdom teeth could grow up in their place. No surgery needed, just novocain and a lot of tugging. The two on top weren't too bad to come out, the bottom one was kinda bad though, as my jaw isnt as secure as my skull. For the next 24 hours I lived only off my own blood. Then my jaw was really sore, so the dentist packed this green shit into the hole and it smelled and tasted horrible. No one wanted to talk to me and I lost all my friends and then I killed myself.

That would be the sweetest fucking thing ever. Except would all the same painful shit happen or do you remember it. I could avoid a few scars and punt kick my ex in her crotch.

I'm 23 years old and my wisdom teeth have not grown in yet. I get the ocassional day where I can feel them, but seriously within 24 hours I'm back to 100% with my teeth... I have never had a cavity, no caps, no surgeries, and my teeth really straight.
The only dental procedure I have ever had was when I was a kid... I was running in the parking lot at my elementary school, I fell and broke my front tooth... they just glued a piece back on, "painted" it accordingly, and I was as good as new.

EDIT: I forgot the mention that the day I do need to have the wisdom teeth removed I plan to cry like a total wuss!

I had all four wisdom teeth removed. Apparently drugs drop me like a punk, cause I didn't get past 7 counting down and I wake up in the car halfway home thinking that tolstoy was a fucking idiot. Which I don't quite understand, cause tolstoy wasn't all that dumb. What an interesting drive.

My wisdom teeth came in when I was 16 or so. At some point, I was stuck on the couch for a week because I had no energy to do anything but live. I could barely feed myself and change the channel on the tele. I had two appointments over the next year to get them removed, as was advised by the dentist, but my mom neglected to give me a ride to both, so I still have them. They're not bad, but they get food stuck in them easily and every couple months the right side of my mouth gets sore and a flappy skin-thing appears that I constantly have to hit with my tongue resulting in an even sorer mouth.

Also like douche was saying about his stitches, it's as if when ever there is something foreign in your mouth, you subconsciously have to attack it with your tongue. I mean, it makes sense in terms of large foods particles and whatnot, but it's detrimental for things like stitches and irritated/swollen mouth parts. I just find it amazing how we know some is bad for us or something hurts, yet we'll keep doing it, even subconsciously. It's funny and sad.

I had my wisdom teeth out around 2002. They gave me the IV to knock me out, which got me doped up out of my mind so I didn't feel a thing...after angrily waking up and going home, I had pain non-stop for two weeks. TWO WEEKS! TWOOOOOOO WEEEEEEEEEEKS. Anyway, I was basically just laying in my bed popping mass amounts of vicodin. Whenever I wasn't drugged out of my mind, my mouth was a mass of horrible throbbing pain. There was also this nasty urge to want to play with the stitches with my tongue, which I think I may have accidentally untied at one point, causing a gross, gaping hole in the back of my mouth in which food chunks would get caught until I rinsed them out with the special squirter they gave me. I had to change mouth gauze at least hourly, spitting out huge blood-soaked wads of gauze and stuffing new ones in.

The best part was when all my friends came to visit, and one of them had drawn me an awesome picture in crayon about sharks and teeth and stuff. I was very touched as it was a heartfelt gesture. As an added bonus I got to do a bunch of drugs for a while afterwards, because I got my vicodin scrip re-filled.

Like Valdronius (Or more accurately, like my mother as that's why it happened), I only had 3 wisdom teeth. Two of them started growing in sideways and they came out of the gum enough where anytime I tried to talk or chew the teeth scraped against my cheek. That also meant that they had come out enough to just pull, but between the ulser on my week and the strep throat (which I had for a week before realizing it may be something serious), I was unable to eat much of anything for an entire month. And it was December so after my mid-December birthday I didn't eat anything substantial until January. I forced myself to have some lobster on Christmas Eve, but I was in too much pain to enjoy it.

My 2 bottom ones are coming in, the skin is still over them but soon my Ninja tongue is going to lance that skin right off to reveal 2 wisdom teeth that seem to be growing in properly and with enough room... so I shouldn't have to get the local Ninja-Dentist to use his skillz to remove them faster than I can say "Whaaaaat???"

As for the top ones... I have no idea where they are... I can't feel them... and it's been a while since I had an x-ray done...
