So I saw Salt this afternoon, it was all right but it was also really predictable. SAome of the action was good and the story was not all that bad either. The predictability of it is what makes me say it was just all right.

So I literally knew who the bad guy was the moment you first see him. So Angelina Jolie actually turns out to be a Russian sleeper agent. Her husband studies spiders so earlier you see her take a spider from her apartment.

She goes through with the plot to kill the Russian president but you know right away that it won't stick. They don't have the balls to actually have Angelina Jolie really be the villain. This would have made for a much better movie if they actually rolled with that though.

So basically she is an American who gets put into this sleeper agent program as a kid. So she is a Russian sleeper agent but after her fake killing of the Russian president she goes after the Russians. It reminded me of Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull bit of Indy's friend being a triple agent.

She uses the poison from this spider to inject the Russian president to make it look like he is dead. Immediately when I saw her take that spider it reminded me of Sherlock Holmes when Lord Blackwood took some substance to make it look like he was dead.

I mean the action was pretty good and the basis of the story is pretty interesting but like I said earlier the predictable nature of this movie makes it just an all right, slightly above average movie.

The trailer looks fucking terrible. I'm so absolutely sick of Angelina Jolie's face and her absolute lack of even mediocre acting skill that I'm not ashamed to say I'll be ignorant and completely ignore this movie.
